After a week the first Microwave we received would only run for about 130 seconds then completely stop and go blank. Opened the door & the inside was quite hot. Had to reset the clock each time. Returned it & a second microwave was shipped to our house. So far it works, but there's nothing special about it. Kind of annoying that you have to push 2 buttons to start it (unless you push the 30 seconds button) and you have to push 2 buttons to open it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Unfortunately I found the door to be difficult to open and close and the automatic safety functions to be cumbersome. Ended up returning.
