I did a lot of research before choosing this dishwasher. It truly is very beautiful... will not show any fingerprints so I won’t have to spend hours cleaning the outside while it’s cleaning my dishes inside.
The salesman at Best Buy went out of his way to help us with our choice.
The delivery men were very knowledgeable. The installation went smoothly, and they made sure we knew what we were doing before they left.

We bought this dishwasher in a moment of panic after our prior dishwasher (a Samsung) stopped working after less than 5 years of use. Repairman for the Samsung said they couldn't be fixed and recommended a KitchenAid. We were happy to get one from Best Buy on short notice as we heard many were backlogged.
This dishwasher worked great for the first five months, but then stopped working and gave an error code F9 E1. It was under warranty, so a service company was provided at no charge. They've now been here on four separate occasions and have replaced multiple parts. Each time the replacement part helped only temporarily, but then we started getting the same error again. (New drain pump helped for 1/2 a cleaning cycle. New controller helped for a week.)
Today, the repairman arrived but said he found the latest replacement part was broken when he opened the box in the driveway. He also said it was a new model and they were "still working out the kinks". We've been handwashing dishes for the last three months even though we have a "new" dishwasher.

It died, and Whirlpool service is non-existent

We bought this dishwasher, and a Best Buy service plan for it. It ran fine for a while, and was fine when it worked, but a couple months before the first year was up the heating element died, so it won't run hot, it does a lousy job of cleaning, and it won't dry anything. We called Best Buy but they told us we had to go through the manufacturer for warranty service, they won't help us until after the warranty expires. The manufacturer's website, after running through some forms, informed us that service is not available in our area, and gave a phone number to call. After three tries and a total of probably 3.5 hours waiting on hold, we got to a technician who told us that we needed a repair, but that no service was currently available in our area, but some outside firm was going to be retained to maybe figure out how to hire someone to fix it, and they would hopefully contact us within a week.
