This Kitchen Aid dw works fine. It has some good features, like the front display screen, so there's no doubt what it's up to. E.g. Washing, clean, or timer mode. It doe clean well. Maybe it's because we finally got on board with the pricey platinum detergent pods? I like the fact that it dries with warm air instead of that heating element on the bottom that melts plastic if it was on the bottom rack, in our old dishwasher. Only negative is the capacity. The bottom rack doesn't hold as much as our old unit. Nothing's perfect :)

Had a kitchen aid dishwasher before and was pleased so, got another one. It’s whisper quiet so, you barely no it’s running. It has a large capacity and multiple cycle selections to choose from. It will also clean stuck on food like in a crock pot or casserole dishes. I’m absolutely loving it!!

Love my new KitchenAid dishwasher. This runs much quieter than the old one and I love the controls and message panels. On top of that, it does a great job. Best Buy installer did a terrific job and was out of here in about 15 minutes. Last time I purchased a dishwasher from another big box store, it was a nightmare.

Nice dishwasher. Very good looking. Very quiet, can not hear it from the other room. Make sure you place the dishes as recommended for optimal clean. The outside smudges very easily Hard to keep clean by the handle. But overall very good machine. .

I believe you can not live without a washer/dryer and a dishwasher- so when my 15 year old Bosch died. I got right on the internet and started reading reviews. I had it pinned down between the Kitchenaid and a Bosch- Kitchenaid was more but slightly better. Turned out there was free installation on KA so that pushed my hand- love it

Quiet in operation. Cleans excellently. The customer service representative in the store was very knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations as to what model would be suitable for us. He was thorough and accurate in placing our order, paying careful attention to all the details. Arrangements were made; the dishwasher and crew arrived on time and they knew what they were doing so the installation went smoothly and quickly. The dishwasher meets and exceeds all our hopes and expectations. We were thankful for the excellent in-store advice regarding the different options too. Although we have never had the hidden controls, we love them.

After having a terrible, cheap dishwasher, this Kitchenaid was all I wanted and more. It’s super quiet and above all it washes and dries very well. It has a window display to tell the cycle status. I’m very pleased so far with this purchase.

I bought a house that came with new Samsung appliances and after just two years the dishwasher began not working properly. It was stopping during cycles and giving me a code for low water when water hook up was fine. After looking at many blogs and contacting Samsung, we decided not to try to fix it and by new. I checked out consumer reports and bought a Bosch first because I really enjoy a quiet dishwasher. Although when we got the Bosch I realized how much smaller they are inside than typical American dishwashers and it went back. I went back to CR and then ordered this Kitchen Aid that was also ranked highly and I’m very happy with this purchase. I like the little screen that tells you what it is doing and reminds you that it is on because it is so very quiet. Dishes also come out really dry. Best Buy had the best price and offered free installation which was a nice bonus.

I purchased this dish washer due to numerous reviews from other people who owned it. My previous dish washer was a 37 year old GE that finally gave up the ghost and I felt it was better to replace than to repair. I purchased installation with it which I would recommend as it took two people 3 hours to install it. The first time I used it I could tell it was running but the second time I could hear nothing. Dishes come out dry. Two things I didn't know were that newer dish washers take much longer to wash than old dish washers and it has multiple silverware slots all over the inside instead of an easier to use single location. It also uses less soap than my old washer. Dishes come out clean.

The quietist dishwasher I have ever owned. Lots of options and cleans very well! Takes longer to run the cycle but the end result is great! The only thing I would like is differently is to have the print shield option to eliminate fingerprints etc

Very happy with this dishwasher! Excellent performance! It cleanses dishes very well without prewashing and saves a lot of my time. I am very thankful! It dries very well too. I don't need to use rinseaid nor special dish tablet. I just use basic dish soap and still dishes come out perfectly clean and dry.

After scouring the earth looking for the best dishwasher for a reasonable price, I settled on this model. Based on the specifications and price, it should have been incredible, but it falls just a hair short in several areas. Here's my summary: Pros: -Does a good job cleaning dishes -Is very quiet -Dries dishes well -Easy to operate -Display on the front is very handy Cons: -Takes 2.5 hours for a "normal" cycle with dry -Gets a soap scum layer on the door using even premium wash packs and rinse aid. I've found running the rinse aid on the highest setting helps. -The pump has gotten noisier over the first month of use. I couldn't even hear it when it was new, but now the pump makes some noticeable noise when operating at the start of each cycle...not loud but definitely noticeable, and definitely louder than the sound rating. -Manual suggests running the nearest faucet for hot water before starting the washer, so you waste 5 gallons of water so it can use 4 gallons to do a good job on the dishes. -Racks are hard to load soup bowls in. They tend to fall over nearly flat pretty much anywhere you put them. -Clearance on the lower rack is tight for large casserole pans even with the top rack all the way up. Forget about putting serving utensils in the main silverware basket as they hit the arm. -Top rack is not removeable. All in all, it's still a very good dishwasher. I'd buy it again, but it could still use some improvements.

Smooth and quiet dishwasher. Great setup for loading dishes and they come out spotless.

This dishwasher is great. It originally came slightly damaged; however Best Buy replaced it immediately; great customer care! The dishwasher works great, the dishes, glasses, and silverware came out spotless and dry. Plenty of space for silverware, extra built-ins for knives. Only drawback is buzzing noise during wash cycle; very quiet during rinse cycle. Not sure if this is normal??

Our previous kitchenaid dishwasher stopped working after 12 years. This replacement looks identical but has display telling status of wash. Extremely quiet and dishes clean and dry. Recommended
