Bought this dishwasher after reading many online reviews. Was also looking at a Maytag which got great reviews but decided on the KitchenAid because it was quieter and the top and bottom racks are really great. They seem to hold the dishes, glasses, and silverware no matter what size or type. Most importantly the dishes are absolutely clean and dry after every cycle. The display on the front is nice too.

I really love this dishwasher. I bought it just under a year ago and have not had any problems with it. It’s very quiet. Dishes come out clean. My prior dishwasher had the the third shelf for utensils, etc... and I do miss that but not enough to make me regret buying this model.

This KitchenAid dishwasher gets the dishes so clean that the glasses sparkle! I like the third shelf too. It has a screen on the front of the dishwasher that shows the progress of the washing and drying cycles. It is the best performing dishwasher I have ever experienced.

We have used it for about a month and love it. It is super quiet. It cleans perfectly. It is not the cheapest but seems like it is worth. It was on sale so that helped. Consumers Report rates it the 3rd best. We like the fact it has a stainless steel tub. Our old one was white this one is stainless steel. We wished we had went with white again.

Love,love this dishwasher for it's capabilities to clean so well and how quiet it is. We bought it after reading many reviews and consumer guide rates it #1. The only downside is the top rack slides with more noise then I would like. I called Whirlpool and they sent someone out to replace the top rack guides 2 days later. The ball bearings still make some noise but we are getting used to it.

Owned a Kitchenaid Dishwasher since 2006 and it died earlier this year. Ordered a 400 series upgraded model, new design with three motorized spray arms and third rack from a large well known wholesale club. First one was delivered damaged and had to wait for an exchange. Second one was delivered and dead on arrival. Returned it and went online to bestbuy.com. Found this model. It actually is an older model than the one I bought originally from the wholesale club, but it runs a few hundred dollars less on sale. It has the same no filter self cleaning filter which is a great design for minimal maintenance and very effective. It lacks the third rack, which in reality is a good thing. The third rack on the more costly model actually got in the way and was very cheaply made and kept falling apart. No third rack is the way to go. Also, this model just has, in my experience, a tighter and better fit and finish. QC seems better on this model. I believe it was manufactured in a better factory than the "newer" models. It installed a lot easier due to the design, and it worked right away, and worked really well. I love the front facing display which gives you a quick view on the status and also tells you when you can still add dishes to the cycle safely. It also reminds you when it is time to run an "afresh" tablet to clean out the unit. The unit cleans dishes extremely well. It dries them better than the "newer" version 400 series did. The only negative I can find, and it is minor, is that even though it has a specification of 43 db, which is lower than the 44 db of the 400 series model, in my opinion, it is not as quiet. The 400 series seemed to have more padding, but also was harder to install because of the padding/insulation. Nonetheless, this unit was still extremely quiet anyway, and much more quiet than my previous high end Kitchenaid. Overall, this unit is a winner in my opinion. It has the no maintenance clean wash system, stainless interior, no third rack (again a positive), extra basket in the top rear, Pro Wash power wash in the back (works really well on pots), removal dual silverware baskets (very nice), adjustable tines (very nice). It does NOT have the bottle cleaners in the top rack, but it is NOT NEEDED because all my bottles come out amazingly clean already. Very happy!

The main reason to buy it was the ProScrub option.It does not work as well as My Samsung,because this does not rotate and you have to put the pans in a very specific way and some may not get completely clean.Other than this,no complains.I felt like I did not have dishwasher until now,everything is soo clean.I use Quantum max tablets and NO Rinsaid at all.Very quite.

Due to moves and remodels, we have purchased 5 dishwashers. I had no idea I could be in love with a dishwasher. I have to triple check that it's on because it's so quiet. It does an amazing job washing dishes and the stainless steel tub doesn't discolor with our funky water. I'd buy it again!

One word sums up this dishwasher...WOW! It's sleek modern style and ample room for dishes, etc make this one of the best on the market. We elected to purchase this as a replacement for a Maytag dishwasher that saw the repairman multiple times! It is so quiet you might think you did not turn it on! You will not be disappointed with this model.

Finely made dishwasher. Performs well. Extremely quiet. Good looking. BestBuy installation was timely and professional. Only cavil is bottom rack offers less vertical space for tall dishes than our previous Maytag.

This washer was #1-rated in many places. Reviews said that you could put dirty dishes straight into it without rinsing and we found that to be very true. We even put a crock pot bowl in there. It had baked on lasagna and the washer cleaned it no problem. It's also very quiet. And Best Buy had the lowest price on sale. Love it so far!

We purchased this dishwasher based on the Consumer Reports ratings. We have never owned such a quiet dishwasher. You can hardly tell it is running and it does an excellent job of cleaning. We are very satisfied with this dishwasher and highly recommend it.

I find the instruction booklet extremely lacking. If I am setting the cycles correctly the dishes do come out clean but the cycle runs for a very long time, longer than 3 hours, but it is very quiet.

We bought this unit to replace a 20 year old KitchenAid that was still working but was very noisy and not washing well. This unit does a great job both washing and drying. Dishes come out clean and dry without any pre-washing. It is also super quiet, I can't hear it running at all.

I've only had the dishwasher for a month, but what a difference from my 10yr old prior KitchenAid. It's super quiet, surprisingly fast, and I like the digital display on the front that tells you what's going on and how much time's remaining. Solid build quality, and great value for the price!
