I do a lot of video editing on the go, and needed the extra storage. This was not my first purchase for an external hard drive, but by far the best choice. The rugged construction helps build confidence, but my only concern is the connection to the USB-C cable does feel a bit loose. Otherwise, the read/write speed is fantastic!

Works exactly what I was hoping for. Only thing to keep in mind, if you are trying to back up an older computer - you will need an attachment going from a C port to an A port.

LaCie has always been my go-to for backup drives and will continue to be with the performance of this 5TB drive. As a photographer and videographer, I need plenty of space. With this drive, along with the same backup on LaCie 2Big TB3, I can rest easy knowing my work is backed up and with plenty of room to spare.

This item has such a great value! So much space and a quick setup. Easy to use on the go and I feel much more secure about my files.

It is what it said it was, compact and fast. It is also compact and easy to use anywhere.

I love this drive. It has enough space for all the content I create. I can upload my pictures and videos and keep my computer space free. I wish it wasn’t so bulky but it does the job.

While not as fast as a Thunderbolt connection these are dependable little drives. Designed for Mac they always work the second I plug them in.

these LaCie hard dives are amazing, I never had one fail me (unlike others), so i will always get these.

decent price for reliable plug and play storage. I run editing projects straight from my ssd's and notice some lag from lacie compared to Samsung's portable ssd's.

I love this drive. Solid build. The bumper protects the drive very well even if it drops flat on the ground as the edges are very deep. It dosent feel bulky which was my concern when buying. Overall if you need a travel hard drive, IMO this is a solid choice.

This little thing is a beast! Not only does it do a great job of syncing my files, but it being ruggedized helps give me peace of mind that if I drop it or something happens to it, my data will be safe. Highly recommend it (this is my second LaCie Rugged drive).

Very solid device. No long term use yet, but it has helped move over 2k in files on it already.
