Very similar to my LaCie Rugged 2TB, but now with USB-C compatibility. You can’t go wrong when you buy LaCie; excellent build quality and performance. And the hi-vis silicone case is not only really cool, it’s extremely rugged as well. Very pleased with my purchase.

Geat External Hard Drive for storing additional files. Comes in handy while dealing with a lot of artwork

Lots of storage space and a VERY good value. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the data transfer speed is a little slower than other options. I use this for file backup so it doesn't have to be super fast for what I use it for.

The orage trim is medium soft and is perfect for cushioning any impact. It works perfectly. Delivery was spot on.

Good hard drive, I use it for editing, its a bit slow

This external hard drive has worked extremely well for me as a hobbyist landscape photographer. The extra durability was the selling point for me as I have lost two hard drives from minor impacts to other drives.

I haven't had this too long but so far so good. The orange case around it seems very capable and robust. I think it will protect it from drops. You still have to be careful, because IT'S not SSD. It's conventional with head

Great construction and easy to use. The lastexternal hard drive I purchased accidently dropped onto a rug covered floor and I lost everything on that drive. This one us ruggedly protected.

I got this drive because I have two other brand hard drives that have some challenges with the macOS but the LACIE drive seems to work if it's either the SSD version or the one with the spinning disc so I like this drive
