My company got me a new Dell Windows 10 laptop to replace the 4 year old WIndows 7 HP Laptop that I had upgraded to Windows 10 a few years back. Bought this software to transfer the programs and files and it worked flawlessly. You MUST read and follow the instructions for a clean transfer. I used the provided ethernet cable to connect the 2 laptops and a few times during the xfer process the network connection would show as "weak" but this did not affect the overall process. it took about 2 hours. WELL worth the $$ and time
