It wakes up immediately and connects right away with my Bluetooth mouse. It has a comfortable keyboard and the numeric keyboard is really handy. This is a great upgrade from my old Yoga

Great laptop

The only real gripe I have is with the pgup/pgdown/home/end keys - you need to press the fn key to activate those. I'm having a bit of trouble getting that into my muscle memory. I have an open box model, so my experience with the keyboard may be unique. I have had minor issues with double entered keys. Very sporadic, but happens once or twice per day. Very fast computer! Sound is good. Fingerprint reader works great. Just enough ports (I bought a usb dock to hook up my 2nd screen, which works great). Overall, I like much better than the HP I had before.

Regarding using the pgup/pgdn/home/end keys, these function keys are on two sets of keys - the arrow keys and again in the 10-key numeric pad keys. If you do not use the 10-key numeric keys that often or don't mind using the number keys at the top of the keyboard, turn off NUMLOCK and the functions will now be available without the need of using the shift key for the 10-key numeric function keys.

Previous lenovo held up so hoping to repeat

So far, we are pleased with this one but it is fairly new. The magnetic closure does make it hard to open one-handed as mentioned in reviews I had read, so that will take some getting used to. But, I don't see that really as an issue. This won awards as one of the best business laptops. We weren't looking for gaming but this laptop didn't have negatives that I had seen in other reviews.

Great PC

Battery life is about 7 hours with brightness set at 60%. The first thing I did was a clean install of Windows 10 Pro, then updated the drivers from Lenovo. I don't like the home editions and this also ensures that if there is any preinstalled bloatware it is removed. I really like that it comes with a pen and it recharges while docked. Not much else I can say that hasn't already been said, but this is by far the best Yoga I have had. I had the 2 and 3.

I like the feature of just using a PIN instead of the account password. I anticipate lots of useful work with it especially when compared to my old laptop which wss 8 years old!

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga 9i-15 model number 82DE0009US, ships with a 4CELL_69WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, with a battery life of up to 13 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

The touchscreen is responsive and the speakers are by far the loudest I ever heard in a laptop.

I needed something that was current, but not totally out of my price point. I did a lot of research before I decided on this computer. I typically go for HP computers, and this is the first Lenovo that I have ever owned. So far so good. I really like this computer. It is really versatile. I love the tablet and pen features as well. They are a total game-changer. I have only had it for a few months, but I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I am very impressed with this laptop. I was not expecting the Dolby Atmos Soundbar to be as loud as it was. I was amazed when I saw that the upgraded Wireless AX card on this laptop actually got 850MB download speed, where my previous one got 700MB. I love the integrated pen and it is so fun to write messages on the screen with it. Lenovo has made me a dedicated customer with the quality of their laptops being better than any other brand that I have gotten in the past. This is my third Lenovo laptop and all have been great experiences from the purchases I have made. Thank you and I look forward to my next upgrade in 2 to 3 years!

No thunderbolt charging but that's okay

The keys take a while to get used to, coming from my old Asus. Right now my biggest and really only complaint is the fact that I can't charge the laptop via the thunderbolt port. I've read that this is possible with the smaller screen version and part of me kind of wished I had gone with that, but I bought this from open-box and the savings outweighed the issue.
