I'm playing a lot of Mass Effect on my gaming PC. It's the greatest story ever told but that's another review. This mouse has great tracking and I love playing the greatest game ever made. I had another gaming mouse before this but this one is just so much more sharper. It's that sharp and crisp movement that I'm always looking for that I didn't always have. Not even a company I would normally go with for my PC gaming peripheral needs but I will from now on. Truly amazing.

The Lexip Pu94 was exciting to try and review since it is my first mouse with a built-in joystick. To boot, the Pu94 claims to be two joysticks in one mouse (I'll explain later). OUT OF THE BOX/FIRST IMPRESSIONS Out of the box, the Pu94 looks a lot less intimidating than some other gaming mice that I have tried. It has your standard left/right buttons, scroll wheel, and a separate button on the top of the mouse. The left side include the joystick and two buttons. Just underneath the surface lies a programmable RGB LED backlight which can be static or animated. I found the backlight to be enough of an accent without feeling like a laser light show. The mouse has a high quality, soft feel to it. Setup and connection is easy just like you'd expect. One thing I must mention are the typos throughout the control panel app. There is a glaring lack of quality control/proofing there that I hope is corrected. I'm a frequent critic of companion apps that haven't been thoroughly designed. Thankfully, this app is quite functional which begs the question how these oversights happened. FEATURES & USABILITY First, let me say that as with most gaming mice, most of their functionality comes from the associated software and customizations based on what program you are using. The Pu94 is no different. Download the control Lexip Control Panel, you can adjust the sensitivity, download profiles based on specific games, or just go maverick and do it yourself. Adjusting the sensitivity and "dead zone" are important due to the aforementioned "two joysticks in one device." The first joystick is obviously on the left panel. This is a great added feature and allows you to do most actions in FPS games from your mouse without the need for the use of a keyboard. But where's the second you might ask? The second is the mouse itself which sits slightly above the base allowing you to tilt forward/backward and side to side. This takes some major getting used to, but can come in very handy in games w/ 360 environments such as flight/space (ST: Online or Ace Combat) or FPS games (Rainbow 6: Siege). I would highly recommend allocating several hours to learning how to best use these features before you inadvertently find your gaze drifting toward the skies as you creep forward toward your target OR taking an unexpected dive after you launch some missiles at that bogey. It's just training your hand and muscles to do things differently than they have in the past. I have smaller hands so I found that the mouse fits me fine. However, this isn't usually the case and I can see the left joystick being a bit too far forward for some as it makes using the left/right buttons impractical. Like I said, this is fine for me, but maybe not for everyone. Worth checking out because this mouse could be a game changer. The ceramic glide feet are INCREDIBLY smooth and you really don't realize how clunky your old mouse is until you have one that seems to glide effortlessly across any surface. CONCLUSION The Pu94 could be a game changer for you. For me, it's not going to be my every day mouse as I have no need for dual joysticks. That being said, I am working to train my hand to take advantage of the dual joystick capability for games which is the feature that sets this mouse apart IMO.

    Revolutionary with a Shortcoming

At first, I thought the Lexip Pu94 was just a mouse with a small thumb joystick on the side, which would make it interesting for gaming. Little did I know that it was much more than that. It has an axis that allows it to move up and down and sideways. That turns out to be fantastic, not only for gaming but also for 3D viewing and editing. It is a 360-degree joystick. I mean, it is two joysticks and a mouse in one. Contrary to what I thought, I got used to it very quickly although in the beginning I would press the right or left buttons when I intended to tilt it forward. Once I started playing with it, I quickly forgot it was a mouse. It is very intuitive and setup is easy. It comes with five customizable buttons. Resolution is a big plus. It looks very nice but has a plastic feel to it and is extremely light. That lightness is good only to an extent. When using it as a joystick, which is the main function of this mouse, it may be a bit hard to keep it in place because it is too light. I am currently waiting for the weight “feet” that you can add to it. That should take care of the weightlessness when you need it to be heavier. I hope that it will work but it is an annoyance for now when I am trying to edit my CAD files. I used it with a few games and had different experiences. It uses profiles for games and apps that you can download from their site. When using those, it really makes this mouse a must-have. Without the profiles, the only major feature is the small joystick or thumb stick, which is nice to scroll through pages quickly. The major CON is that there are not as many profiles on their website as I would like. Very few available. My best experience with the Lexip Pu94 has been playing with a flight simulator but I would like to see profiles for the major PC games out there. The software that comes with it allows you to create your own profiles but it would be best if you did not have to do that for popular games and applications. Also, it was confusing to find out that the existing profiles are only available on the European web site. I don’t even know how I ended up getting to the right site the first time because the second time I tried I could not find the profiles until I went to my browser history and found out that I was on a different site, the U.S. one instead of the European one. Hey, I live in the U.S. Overall, I loved all the features. It is a device with a lot of potential. I just hope they create more profiles quickly so we can take full advantage of this super mouse/joystick. I recommend it with some warning: it needs more profiles than are available at this time.

I'm blown away by the Lexip Pu94 Gaming Mouse. It is superior in every way to older mice that I've had throughout the years. This is incredible for gaming, but what I was most impressed with is how quickly I adapted to the side trigger for my business & productivity applications. The design of this mouse is sophisticated and intuitive. I love the LED accents on the mouse which add to the experience. Another great thing about this mouse is the ceramic feet. Lexip makes these as a stand-alone item that you can use for other mice that you have. The ceramic feet provide a superior experience as there is no latency in the movement of my hand and the cursor. I don't know it took so long for someone to figure out this feature. I'll never get another mouse without it. I did end up reprogramming a couple of the buttons for my own personal needs. It was easy to do as the UX was very intuitive. My son is an avid PC Gamer and he loves the mouse so much it is now on his list for Christmas already. I highly-recommend this mouse for gaming but I also would recommend it for business & productivity work as well.

The Lexip Pu94 Wired Gaming Mouse is a nice product. It fits easily in my hand and is quite comfortable. I like that it is "lighted" - a feature I've never had in a mouse. The scroll roller glides easily and doesn't jump. I think the only thing I don't like about the mouse is that it is wired ... the USB cable takes up space on my desktop and gets tangled. Overall, a nice product.

    Genuine Innovation for Serious Gamers

The Lexip - Pu94 Wired Gaming Mouse is a sophisticated accessory for serious gamers. It has a full roster of useful features that gives it the capability to be customized for very specific applications. Being able to reference (and create) a variety of profiles extends the promise of that customization to unlimited use scenarios. Even (as other reviews have mentioned) to applications outside of gaming, such as CAD. However, this is not for casual gamers. As expected, the wide range of features and customizations bring with them a steep learning curve. Learning, customizing, adjusting and finalizing the settings takes time and dedication. For the serious gamer, it's worth it to gain a true edge - which having so many controls at your immediate call gives. For others, I'm not so sure. However, the growing number of profiles publicly available is a definite help. Game on!

This mouse works quick and hard for you so you can get the job done without lag. With its gliding feet and precision movements, gaming and art design have taken a new form. The side joystick is a dream come true for gamers, making movements easier and cohesive. Love the ability to change colors, keep the colors still and moving, as well as flashing color changes, all at the click of a button from the software downloaded. software download was easy and allowed me to quickly adjust the speed setting of my mouse and there’s NO LAG when moving the mouse to perform tasks expected. I highly recommend this mouse for anyone having trouble with precision with their current mouse and for those who are serious about their work or gaming and don’t have a minute to lose.

    Game Changer, Literally

The Lexip Pu94 integrates a feature I've been asking from the popular G mouse maker for over a decade: A thumb joystick or D-pad with at least 8 Directions. But they didn't stop there, they added another joystick multi-axis to the body itself, so you can put pressure and shift the mouse itself to make subtle tilts and directional motions. The possibilities this opens become endless, as the mouse itself simulates a gimbal if you are into flight sims or even racers. Or if you model in 3D Space. The thumbstick can be mapped to become similar to a directional strafe/movement thumbstick similar to a gamepad (a traditional weakness of mouse and keyboard in 3rd person games). The thumbstick can also be mapped to open up more MMO macros. For example, most MMOs support up to 10 actions per bar, and allow you to context shift between them by using say, CTRL, SHIFT, ALT + the # on the bar. Now you can map your context shift buttons to one of the directions on the mouse thumb joystick, UP = CTRL, LEFT = SHIFT, RIGHT = ALT. Now you can access all of those additional action skills without putting your left hand in awkward positions with your right hand chipping in with the thumb joystick. You can also use that left thumbstick to quickly scroll through menus or pop-ups while using your left hand for other actions. I was also sent ceramic feet to test with, but this unit already has ceramic feet. The design is also interesting in that it has a disconnectable USB-C cable but its not a wireless mouse. Interesting that its not just attached permanently. The only real negative I have for the mouse is that there is a good 1/2" of "bezel" in front of the two main mouse buttons that could be a button instead. This forces me to curl my index and middle fingers more than I like. Those with really big hands will not like this so please check this before you buy. Still, super cool mouse from a relatively unknown brand. I hope this comes to more gaming mice soon!

The Lexip- PU94 wired gaming mouse is something to behold. It actually has a joystick on the side of it! This small feature has really helped me in CIV moving around seamlessly and without issue! The packaging was simple to open up and plugged right in and was recognized right away! If you are looking to step up your game with a mouse that is low latency, smooth moving thanks to its ceramic feet, this is the mouse of choice! It is now my preferred gaming mouse!

I wanted to like this mouse but after use I found it sat tall since it is essentially a joystick in your hand plus there is a thumb joy stick, I was hoping it would be a fun work mouse that also served a gaming need but the gaming seems very limited to flight sim games. I am not interested in swapping mice for different games. The quality was just ok but not worth the price as there are better mice.

Interesting design, but not my first choice

The Pu94 is a really interesting design given its side joystick and mouse shell that essentially is another joystick. The gamer in our family really wanted to like this mouse, but it just didn't do the trick due to design and application purposes. Set up of the Pu94 mouse is simple with an easy download and user friendly software. There are a large amount of online tutorials as well should users have any issues. The laser sensor is high quality. We really liked the smoothness of the ceramic glide feet; just a really nice feature of this mouse. The side joystick is useful and allows for actions such as scrolling or rotating in certain programs. The hard plastic, solid portion on the top, front of mouse made it very awkward to click and use. Perhaps this is more prevalent for one with a larger hand size. I'd assume this enables one to make tilting the mouse easier, but it made clicking the mouse very annoying and was one of the biggest negatives to us. The tilting bottom of the mouse is interesting and provides a good feature to item swap in Minecraft, but not a positive in our opinion for normal use since it makes the mouse more "unstable". There is definitely a market for this mouse depending on the user's need. I think this mouse would be good for someone that frequently used 3D modeling or CAD, but it's not our favorite for everyday use or gaming. The front, solid part of the mouse was the biggest negative for us.

As far as smooth, responsive gaming mice go, this mouse provides what you need. It’s easy to set up and program and I have found the response of this mouse to be excellent. I would recommend it.
