I purchased this fridge because I have exact one except in the largest size in another home. It was a no brained when it came time to purchase a fridge. For this remodel I needed counter depth. I like the 3 separated areas in the freezer. 2 drawers and the large bottom space. Ice maker is keeping up with my high ice demand as I drink iced beverages all day. The unit as a whole operates quietly. I like the style and look of the fridge. The fridge area is roomy and all shelves move around easily. No complaints from me.

The quality of the stainless is amazing. The space is laid out so that you can manipulate your groceries can fit easily into various configurations. Cool is the word here... this is a cool ... constantly cool utility. The Knowledge i received from the Sales Person was helpful in helping me decide which Brand and this refrigerator lives and stands up to the HIP and Delivers. Having a Wifi Blue tooth access to monitor the maintanance of this Fridge is also a reason that I am thrilled with its operation. from maintainence to filter changing, to how long a door maybe open on either the fridge itself or the freezer(which has a deep freeze to gentle freeze) and how many times its been open and how to keep things cool and frozen by changing your opening ... leaving the door open habbits... you can get good data to see how well you are conserving energy. I won't ever by another brand. And if you love Ice.. .this model makes more ice that you can go through. I love it. Best Ice Machine in a door of a refrigerator i have ever seen ... EVER! If you pass on this.. you simply are either over paying or missed the best deal of the century when it comes to a refrigerator at this price point.

My wife and I searched for months in preparation for our new house to be done. We wanted a counter depth fridge with french doors. We don't use the freezer much so we wanted as much fridge space as possible. Plus it's much more convenient with the fridge on top with french doors. We like the blue LED lights and the quality. The fridge doesn't stick out much at all which is where the counter depth came into play. I really like the ice and water dispensers. The water dispenser on separate from the dispenser. The water spout is on the exterior for easy use with large cups or thermos's. We use our hydroflask everyday so this exterior water spout really comes in handy. The ice tray is small but we've yet to run out of ice. If you need to, you can dump the ice tray into the bin in the freezer. Let the fridge ice build up again and now you have double ice trays. The 4 trays inside for deli or veggies is really handy. The trays are large and slide in/out easily. They are also well lit. The fridge really is beautiful and looks classy. It's well worth the money.

Fridge is counter depth, and we were afraid it may be too small. However, we are very pleased with the size. It looks really nice and does not stick out like our old fridge, so we have more room in the kitchen. Very happy so far, it is quiet and looks and works great.

Purchased our refrigerator on March 20 2015. While waiting for the 3rd repairman in the last 10 days, thought now would be a good time to rate the refrigerator. I love the counter depth, stainless steel and overall looks of the refrigerator. If only it worked as good as it looks. Food inside the refrigerator was freezing and there was a build up of ice. After the first repair, we experienced the same problem a few days later. That same day, after the second repair, we were getting errors on the refrigerator and freezer. Customer service was anything but helpful--told us to unplug to clear the errors. Next morning same errors but the refrigerator was NOT cooling. Repairman just left (for the third time) and the fan was not working and again there was a small build up of ice. My experience with LG customer service has not been good. We are convinced we have a LEMON! No complaints on service from Best Buy or repairmen. We should have done more research on LG before buying as further research shows many others have experienced the same from LG, Anxious to see if Best Buy posts this as ratings they have on this are good.

I love this refrigerator - it works well and counter depth is wonderful - it saves space and it looks great in my new remodel kitchen.

We needed counter depth due to kitchen configuration and restrictions. This is perfect fit us. The compartments on inside of doors are suitable for us .... some larger models had humongous compartments rendering a long reach into the fridge...not good for a short/small person. The "black stainless steel" finish does not show finger prints. Stays clean and easy clean (huge positive).

Fits like a glove and has ton of room for food storage and ice maker working great

I am really pleased with my refrigerator! I wanted one that had most of the bells and whistles and would last a long time. I researched and am very happy. The Geek Squad guy said I made the right decision as well, LG is a good company. Oh, and it really resists fingerprints

This refrigerator was the perfect addition to my new kitchen. It offers plenty of space with adjustable shelves, impressive lighting, digital display and several freezer drawers.

This refrigerator is so well designed, I love all the compartments allowing me to find everything easily. However, I have to say the stainless steel on this model is much harder to keep perfectly smudge free than with my prior stainless steel fridge, which was a different brand.

On line reviews only suggested that the ice maker was a little noisey, but I have yet to hear anything remotely considered noises. Very good lighting brighten generous storage areas, well laid out. The freezer has 3 separate storage compartments that are easily accessed. The counter depth made it work in a limited space with room to spare. The sales person (manager) was very helpful, guiding me to the right product and getting it delivered quickly. The Geek Squad delivery men were amazing in removing the old fridge and placing the new. 20 minutes, in and out! And enough explanation to get us startled! All around a good experience. I heartily recommend this to others!

Purchased this refrigerator on the advice of my two neighbors who own the same one and after reading the reviews posted on the Best Buy site. This counter depth refrigerator holds so much more than I ever dreamed it could. The size is perfect for locating items without them getting lost in the far back corners of a deeper fridge. And quiet... Yes there is that also! The lighting is first class. I did hesitate originally for fear that the ice maker would not be able to keep up with our family of 3 which increases on weekends with friends. However the ice maker seems to make more ice more often than our older side by side one did so we have never had an issue with lack of ice. I love the 3 compartments in the freezer. Everything is so much more accessible. If I was forced to be critical, I guess I would have liked the vegetable bins to have been larger; perhaps reduce the current 3 to 2 and thereby increasing their size. Even with that said, it's not been an issue in my household. I do wish LG's stainless was smudge resistant.

This LG counter depth refrigerator is perfect. There is plenty of room for everything with room to spare. The little bottles of condiments fit neatly on the icemaker door. A gallon of milk and other frequently used items fit on the other door, making them so easy to grab. I like the clear compartments on the doors. I am short so being able to see through those compartments to view the items stored there is important to me. Butter and other dairy cartons fit neatly in the top dairy compartment on the door. The drawers open smoothly and are a convenient size. The freezer drawer is easy to pull open. There are two upper drawers in the freezer. The top one is for our ice cream, treats, and frequently used ingredients. The second one holds all those small packages of things that usually get lost in a freezer. The lower part is deep and has a divider to help keep larger things sorted. Both the freezer and fridge have lights. Bright lights! I love the ice and water dispensers on the door. There is no icemaker in the freezer, however, it does come with a container to store extra ice cubes if you want to make them in advance but we haven’t needed it. The on-the-door icemaker makes more than enough ice for our family. I purchased the stainless steel exterior finish. Wasn’t sure I would like it because the front is not magnetic. The sides, however, are magnetic. It has a slightly curved front which enables it to reflect light from any angle. So my kitchen is even brighter than before. I don’t miss my refrigerator magnets at all, I like the clean bright finish of this new fridge. This fridge is very quiet. It has a faint whirring sound. Occasionally we hear ice cubes dropping into the storage container on the door but that is expected. There is also a small shelf on the right door under the bottom shelf. It’s great for storing little items like extra fast food condiment packets, string cheese, and little snack cups. After comparing many models and brands this refrigerator had all the features I wanted. It is thoughtfully designed.

We looked for a long time for a counter depth refrigerator. Not many stores carry them in stock, so picking one out can be challenging. This model is just like the similar full size model, only shallower. It looks good installed (truly counter depth). It is quite and does not make any strange noises while running. It has held its temperature like a refrigerator should. The only reason for 4 stars is that the space inside can be difficult to use. This should be expected since it is counter depth and the available storage space is less, but it is still frustrating the first time you place items in and its like playing a puzzle to get items to fit. This isn't LGs fault, as they have tried to maximize the space as much as possible, but just be aware if you are going from a full size to a counter depth there is a good chance all of your food will not fit (big items, tall items, odd shaped condiment bottles, etc.). Overall, we are very happy with it.

This refrigerator is essentially the counter-depth equivalent to a full-size LG refrigerator we had at our previous house, and which we liked very much, so when our current 14 year old unit developed problems, we focused on LG products again. We like this unit for the excellent interior lighting, quiet operation (quieter than the previous LG), ice maker placement, flexibility in shelf arrangement, easy-open freezer door, and general good looks. We don't use much ice, so I can't comment on the issues other reviewers have had with ice production. We have had the unit for only a month, and we haven't had any operational issues so far. We'll keep our fingers crossed, since some other reviewers haven't been as fortunate. I would rate the unit five stars except for one thing. This unit replaced a built-in refrigerator, so there was cabinetry on both sides of the refrigerator space. We didn't want to go to the expense of another built-in, so we bought the counter depth unit, thinking that it would amount to just about the same thing. But when the unit was in place and the front feet extended to lift it off the front rollers, the bottom edge of the unit protruded 1-1/2 inches from the face of the cabinet while the top edge was flush with the face of the cabinet. I was able to rectify this situation by placing a strip of 1/2 inch plywood on the floor at the rear of the unit and using some carpenters' shims to make little ramps for the rear rollers to ascend when the unit was pushed toward the wall, raising the rear of the unit enough to compensate for its natural backward lean. But I shouldn't have had to do this with a $3000+ refrigerator. It would be very simple for LG to include adjustable rear legs to facilitate making the unit exactly vertical to match the edge of the cabinetry, just like is done with built-in refrigerators. It looks fine now, but it can require a little work to get there.

This counter depth refrigerator is wider than our previous unit with 2 cu.ft. additional storage. The linear compressor is quiet, stopping when a door is opened. The ice cubes are smaller; the water filter provides clarity and cleaner water than past units. We choose the LG over Samsung b/c the superior aesthetics, shelf support, ice/water dispenser look (less plastic), & angle of the water dispenser (easy 2 fill bottles). LED Interior lighting & digital exterior readouts were a plus.

Perfect fit for our kitchen. Love the ice maker not taking up shelf space, but rather in the door. Minimal loss of space. Good lighting, easy clean shelves. LG reputation, quality and performance. May cost a bit more but worth the price for the perfect fit.
