Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the 4.2 Cu. Ft. Stackable Smart Electric Dryer's compact size, quiet operation, and ventless design, finding it easy to use and efficient. Many appreciate its capacity for a smaller footprint, although some note that drying time may be longer than expected and that the dryer produces some heat. The stackable feature is also a plus for many users.

Great machine for compact space. It will wash most clothing but do not dry large comforter covers as it will just tangle up. regular sheets dry well.

This is perfect for a small space. Just have to remember to empty water from tank or add the hose so no overflow. Dries clothes well but takes a little bit longer

Interesting machine, really. I've never heard of or seen a dryer that didn't vent outside. In fact, I didn't even know this machine had this feature before using it. I suspect I may feel a little differently come summertime, but overall, I find this very ideal for use in smaller, storage scarce homes. It dries very efficiently, probably slower than most, but the clothes seem to come out in much better shape. It's almost like the machine sweats out all the wrinkles before fully drying them. It's also very, very quiet.

Quiet, the no vent feature is great but the ability to vent the unit if necessary makes the purchase all that much better.

This dryer is an excellent value for money and performs very well. The size is compact but the capacity is quite large. And there are numerous drying settings. The ventless feature is nice and I advise having the drain tube installed and directed to the washer drain. Geek Squad installers were on time, proficient and courteous.

Just set the dryer on the Delicate cycle and after 35 minutes the whole load is still very damp. Cleaning the filter requires dexterity. According to the manual it is to be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner??? My 20 yrs old Frigidaire did a wonderful job in less time and the filter was very easy to clean

First off, DO NOT BUY A DRYER KIT, THIS MACHINE DOES NOT USE ONE! I had to buy a smaller unit for the space available. For a front load machine it is small, but gets the job done. I do have to do 2 loads instead of 1, but I’m ok with that considering my constraints with space. There is a lot of heat and humidity, but it is a ventless machine so I understood that would happen.

I had to get a smaller washing machine and dryer because my laundry room had a small opening. I picked this because it was the only thing available. However i am pleasantly surprised. The dryer does not require a vent and has a water tank that has to be emptied. After several uses i have found the dryer to be better than my old machine because it has a selection of cycles. I read the other complainants on noise but have not experienced it. I did not stack my machines,

Was hesitant at first but due to space after weeks of research I went with this. Takes little longer but does great job. Multiple cycles and easy to use I recommend this if you are limited on space.

Very efficient and large capacity for the size. It is a vent less. Keep in mind it makes the surrounding area warm with the air that blow from the front

So far this dryer works great. We had a tight space in an upstairs apartment bathroom and this is the only option that would fit. It was easy to install and nice that it does not need to vented. The downside of not venting is that the bathroom gets very warm but tenant closes the bathroom door and that seems to help. I would prefer a normal size unit but this is a great comprise when you do not have the space.

This ventless dryer was a 1st for me. It was very interesting and I loved the idea of it. I only tested it for a short time as the matching washer was damaged and leaked upon arrival. I took both the washer and dryer back for a return which went very well. I certainly would have tried again but the washer was out of stock. Neat dryer. Would consider again.

    Excellent Ventless Dryer

I recently replaced my 2-in-1 unit with a separate washer and dryer. Since I live in a condo, I was forced to go with a ventless electric dryer. I purchased the Samsung 24" washer but could not find a matching dryer and decided to go with the LG. Admittedly, I would prefer my units to match and favor the Samsung line, but these two are similar enough that it's not as bothersome and certainly wasn't worth an extra $400. So far, the LG dryer is doing a great job of drying my clothes in a reasonable amount of time (although the time varies throughout the cycle and does not count down as a typical dryer would-the result of sensor drying). The dryer puts off quite a bit of heat, which I don't mind, given it's winter, but I'm hopeful it works as well during the summer and doesn't make my space too unbearably hot or work against my AC.
