Bought this LG WashTower in Aug 2023. Paid to have BB install it. Noticed right away that the lint was building up significantly on the front door seal and the lint trap was absolutely packed if we did a load of towels. You might think it's not too bad of a problem, but when you're taking a load of laundry out of the dryer, the clean laundry or your shoulder always catches big chunks of lint from the door seal. Can't tell you how annoying I find it. Constantly trying to navigate getting the laundry out of the dryer without touching any part of the outside of the dryer. I've bought many appliances and items from Best Buy and have always been happy with them up until this one. I should have returned it immediately, but the thought of arguing about it with BB and going without one for days or weeks before a new one could be installed made me think that I should just keep it and deal with it. My wife gives me grief at least weekly about how I should have called them to get it replaced immediately when received. Ughhh... Because we had bought the warranty from BB, I called them and setup an appointment to have them come out and trouble shoot the dryer. They came out two months later and looked it over. Then they basically said to me nothing's wrong with the dryer. It's drying clothes. It's not broken. Not a warranty issue. Didn't want to even pull it out of the nook it's in to inspect the connection in the back. Basically didn't want to deal with it. They said that maybe the vent is blocked, but the vent is basically brand new (house just completely remodeled, including wash room and venting), the flap works properly outside and there is significant airflow coming out of the vent when it's operating. Regarding the install: Guys were really late arriving to install it. It was already dark outside, and I could tell they were over it and just wanted to get home. They were in a rush. So my problem could be with the install. Unfortunately, there's no way that I can get it out of the nook it's in, examine it, and then reinstall it. I don't have a clue how to do that, although I see that installs like that are done all the time. I have hooked up stand alone dryers by myself numerous times. In summary, I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this unit, given my experience with it, and Best Buy's unwillingness to troubleshoot it at all. And I'm not meaning to trash BB. I've been shopping there forever, and this is really the first major problem I've had with them or their products. In fact, I really like everything else about this unit, but the lint problem is just so absolutely annoying/ridiculous that I would definitely not recommend this unit. Also, a simple internet search like "lg wash tower dryer lint" or similar will bring up numerous instances of people having this same problem. We had no problem with our older LG washer and dryer set we bought from BB a few years back, so we thought we were good to go with LG. We were wrong. Anyway, buy at your own risk. You've been warned.

Had installer not rammed it up onto my old machines tray probably would’ve been great! However had to return as not sure what type of damage he caused as I was watching video(can’t upload here) . As in pic you see him climbing over unit asking friend I had receive it for a ladder to get out. Not professional!

Delivery driver damaged my door, told me he doesn't do installation. Drain cover was left disconnected. I told him I wanted him to just take it back he told me to bad its delivered laughed and left. I cannot say if the appliances work since they are not connected!!!!

Wash smells like wet wash, clothes are barely wet and the dryer takes over an hour to dry anything. I explained to the Best Buy reps that I didn’t want a front loader because of this issue we had in the past. They assured me all of those problems with these front losers were no longer an issue- they were wrong and clearly just trying to sell their most expensive front loaders.

The delivery team gouged a whole in my wall. Damages the dryer unit and managed to hit my main water line coming in my home and cracked the line. It’s been 48 hours since I notified Best Buy and I have still not heard back from them.

Very disappointed! I was suppose to get it Jan 6th. Still didnt get it. Because of you guys am losing money. It was for my rental house.

Love this tower combo!!!! It looks beautiful and works great!!!! It is quiet, fast and efficient.

My main favorite thing about this is the space-saving aspect of the stack. I also like the cool red color, and that the machines are fairly quiet and work pretty well. But I really deeply despise how the washer tangles my clothes in knots. I've followed the official directions and tried every "hack" I've found online. I've checked to make sure the machine is level. Nothing stops it. I wear mostly natural fabrics due to skin allergies, and this washer has stretched out so many of my shirts. I don't have the patience or time to put everything in washing bags, and that is a stupid solution anyway. (Yes, buy our expensive wash tower so you can spend even MORE time messing around with your laundry.) Washing your clothes should not ruin them. Be told, LG: Would not buy another one of your laundry machines ever again.

Takes up less space than our old LG (which we owned for 17 consecutive years). Love the ability to sync it with our phones so it alerts us when the load is done. Does a great job cleaning the clothing and it's way quieter than our last one. Would not hesitate to buy this again if I needed a new one.
