Its ok, but just go with another brand.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV was great in the beginning. Everything was perfect. Year later and this thing has Wifi issues. Doesn't get internet alot of times despite being connected or videos stop playing. Googling shows me its common among LG for wifi cards to go bad. There's also an issue now with the sound not working after turning the tv on but that just randomly occurs. It works well when it does but its making me consider buying another brand like Samsung.

Could have been better
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a nice TV but the apps were old. Couldn't get the newest Peloton app on there...which is why I bought the TV.

Decent picture, slow webOS, awful remote
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not recommend this TV under anycircumstances. I dislike almost everything about it but the picture quality. It is a good picture but the WebOS operating system is painfully slow and not user friendly or intuitive. The GUI looks like a half finished project. As if all that weren't bad enough, the remote is covered with tiny buttons close together. The OS is so slow that you dont know for a few seconds if you hit a wrong button. Then there's the constant buffering. Cant stream anything without freezing and buffering. I have never been more dissatisfied with a product as this, and I glady handed it back to Best Buy for a refund.

Exchanged this one for a better option
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality was very good, but that's about it. No app store, so you're stuck with whatever it comes with and that's it. The remote has waaaay too many unnecessary buttons. If you're watching something in a dimly lit room, you need to squint or turn up the lights to find the button you're looking for. We took it back and got a FireTV which has been exponentially better.

Unhappy With Remote
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture is great. Remote is hard to use, and buttons too close together. Even a geek was unable to get all functions transferred to our Spectrum remote. Unable to have opening screen onto Spectrum remote, despite his statement that it was done. Geek thought we had a better remote; we said what we had came with television.

it's MEH. I wish I would have done more research
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I would have read the reviews more closely. Thinking a standard remote would be okay-- it is not. It stinks. Small buttons easy to select the wrong one takes you to another location. I guess I'm spoiled with my other LG set and magic remote. The landing page is confusing - it's hard to navigate with the stupid little remote. Well it is set up now so I'll keep it. But I do NOT recommend this model. Picture is nice. That's it. The volume is not that great - have to turn it wayyyyyyyyyy up for some programming.

Nice, but quit working in 32 days
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is big, crisp and clear, and thin. Great in pretty much every way except for the part where you might want it to actually work. The monitor started to randomly go black while I was using it and would not turn back on. I confirmed it was the monitor and not the laptop(s) or the HDMI cable. The monitor would display nothing even though the power was on and the power light indicated that it was not in sleep mode. This all happened 2 days after the 30 day return period ended, so Best Buy would not take it back and I had to contact HP directly for warranty service. Now I have to wait for their box and shipping label to send it back. In the meantime I have work to do and have to go out and buy another monitor so I can get things done. What a hassle and a big disappointment.

Started off good, but not anymore.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this TV 12/31/23. It has been having screen issues for a week now. It freezes on the menu and sometimes when loading, glitches and sits there and bounces or pixelates, and blacks out in some areas. There has been no damage to the screen, so I don't know what the issue is. It is very disappointing to say the least. The sound is great when you can actually get the thing to work, though.

Terrible for Antenna HD channels
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV was to replace my Roku TV that is only about three or four years old. When I hooked up the new LG TV to the HD antenna that I use in my bedroom, I realized that it picked up only five channels. Very disappointing. I then became extremely confused. I hooked up my old Roku TV and all 120 HD channels were working and had good reception. If you want to watch antenna HD channels with this TV I would not buy this product. I even tested the strength of my antenna and the signal and everything was working perfectly. Again I hooked up my old Roku TV again, which is almost 4 years old, and it out performed this brand new LG TV by miles. It’s disappointing because I have a huge 70 inch LG TV in my living room and I wanted to buy the same brand. But I just didn’t know this one had so many shortcomings when it came to antenna HD channels and not being able to pick them up like other TVs do. Very disappointing. I have to take this TV all the way back to the store, repackage it and go through all this trouble. For a brand new TV, I am extremely disappointed that I have to go through all of this. The main reason why I bought this TV was because I wanted to use the web and the Internet access on it. But I did t want to lose almost all of my HD channels by doing so!

Low Quality Resolution unless Gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not worth the money or time trying to adjust the settings as they are very limited and is low quality no matter what you do unless you're gaming on an Xbox or Playstation. Broken after 1.5 years
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've noticed that my LG TV occasionally starts to flicker and glitch during use. Powering it down and unplugging it seems to temporarily fix the issue, but it tends to come back after a while. It's frustrating to deal with, especially during longer viewing sessions.

Disappointed ;-(
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disappointed…TV does not work with SPECTRUM. Need two different handhelds. A pain… Colors are good. Accès to amazone prime ;-). Price point OK - Black Friday. Having known that it does not use SPECTRUM make me regret my purchase. I should have gotten a SAMSUNG I guess.

Return or exchange Windows
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv arrived and we were in the middle of a mild refresh so it was left boxed for almost 2 weeks, once the new mount was installed we opened the tv up only to discover that it had shattered, we assumed during shipping and we know the tv was not moved, bumped or otherwise messed with. However, due to Best Buy’s abbreviated return window we were told they’d be unable to fix the damage even after explaining that 1/2 of the packing foam was missing upon opening the box. Luckily the store manager was sympathetic and we were able to exchange it for an unbroken unit. Happy ever since.

OK if a bit lack luster
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recognizing this TV for what it is I would say I am about getting my money's worth. It can be a bit buggy when trying to switch ports for gaming consoles and the has a slow response time when enter commands from the remote control. Often it will freeze like it is processing commands and you don't know whether to push a button again or wait. These items are mostly nuisances. Picture is OK and I haven't had any show stoppers yet with it.

Terrible wifi connectivity
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a TV this is great, but I bought it to be a web-connected smart tv. First one I bought wouldn’t stay connected to wifi. Exchanged for another one during the 15-day return window. One month later, now the replacement won’t connect to wifi. In Network Settings it says it’s connected, but apps tell me there is no connection. I’m now using an old Fire TV stick that connects just fine. Salesperson talked me into buying this LG, saying it’s the better value at this price point. Wish I’d bought a Samsung…
