I’ve had this ac since December of 2024 and so far it works very well. When setting up the Thin Q app it was easy to connect and see details and change settings on the unit from the phone. The filter is easy to clean and put in. Noise isn’t to bad compared to generic old units on the market. Energy use is low plus with the app I know exactly how much power is being used on my lg devices in my home. The setup is quick and easy to do. Air flow is great and icy cold. Overall I recommend getting one!

It’s a great little AC unit, for the size of it it cools down the room in a short amount of time. If I set it to 60 degrees and max fan speed the room feels cooler within 3 mins. The set up was easy, the instructions were clear to understand and it was my first time ever installing a window AC unit. The filter needs to be replaced roughly every 250 hours that’s it’s powered on and all you have to do is wash the filter. Rinse it with cold/lukewarm water and clean it to get all the debris off the filter, dry it with a paper towel and once it looks dry, pop it back into the AC and it’s ready to go for another cycle. Comes with a remote control and is controllable via ThinQ App. Set a schedule for when you want it to turn of or set a delay timer to have it turn on within specific time.

This is honestly the best window AC I’ve used in NYC. The phone app is super handy—I can turn it off in the morning without even getting out of bed. The dry mode works really well too. It dropped the humidity in my room from 84% to 50% in like 15 minutes. Sleep mode is really quiet, which is great if you like total silence. But personally, I prefer the regular fan sound—it’s kind of like white noise and actually helps me sleep better. I also like that it does a coil cleaning cycle after shutting down, so it doesn’t get moldy like some other units. Overall, 10/10. No complaints at all.

So far so good. I’ve had it a week, it really is very quiet. I have another AC unit in my apartment as well that is much smaller but 4 times as loud. I have a pretty spacious main area that we are using it for and it turns the place into an icebox (if I want it to). Very nice quality for the price

so far running this since i bought it, i had no issiues as well being quiet, it is long though so take that into consideration vs other small window ac units. honestly not much else to add to a review for something like this when it comes to products like these only error i missed judge my window size by measuring wrong area

Excellent unit for my space. Very heavy, make sure you have a deep sill or are ready to brace with wood or something else along with a second pair of hands. App functionality and setting schedules on my phone is great. Very quiet compared to others I have had.

Very happy with the LG Smart window air conditioner. It is quiet and cools the room perfectly. So pleased with this model that I'm purchasing a larger BTU for my family room.

Very slim air conditioner and modern to the look. Blow nice cold air and silent in the same time. I have gone through alot of window Ac and so far this is the best. I have now 2 Lg Ac in the house .

Excellent window ac, keeps home office and my gear nice and cold!! Extremely quiet. Love the dual inverter technology, very subtle on and off. Installed on a 52" window pretty easily.

I have found this unit to be the quietest window a/c I have owned or heard.The chime sounds when setting modes etc..,are more pleasing than the old style beeps.The air flow is strong and cools very well.I personally find some a/c units to be obtrusive and downright ugly.On the contrary,this model from LG,looks clean,sleek,and rather elegant.I tried to do my research,before making my purchase.I am very pleased with the results.LG deserves high scores and recommendations with this very efficient,and quiet unit.I placed my order with Best Buy as no one anywhere stocked this new model.I tried a few places,and felt that it was an inconvenience to be asking for someone to actually place a special order for me.When I walked into Best Buy,I was greeted promptly,and was asked what they could do for me.They did not have the LG dual inverter 10,000 btu in stock either.They said they would be willing to order one and it would be here in about a week.I placed the order.I was notified on day four ,that my a/c had arrived and was ready for pick up.My many sincere thanks to Best Buy,for making my purchase an actual pleasure.Best Buy exceeded my expectations,and I recommend them highly,for your next purchase.

Very impressed with how quiet this unit is, it’s exactly what I was looking for. Fortunately, it also cools the room efficiently! No loud hum or rattling you get from many window acs who market themselves as whisper units. Easy to install, runs smoothly, and I can sleep or work without any disruption. Highly recommend if you want powerful cooling with minimal noise.

Fantastic product. The duel inverter sounds like a gimic but its not. I have this unit in a 400sqf room. I set the temp to 73. My alexa and AC say the room is 85. Within 20 min, its down like 5°. And its QUIET!!!! the fan isnt that powerful so if you want to feel the cold air flow, place a small fan near by. But the air flow is very capable of cooling my hot living room. Unlike a standard AC, that turns on and off, this unit never turns off, instead goes into a low power mode maintaining the cold temperature instead of reacting to the temp going too high and kicking back on. Only complaints i would say, is that the fan isnt that powerful for air flow, and their doesnt appear to a intake vs recirculation for fan mode.

This 10,000 BTU LG air conditioner is quiet and it really cools the place down. It's smaller than the 6,000 BTU unit of another brand that it's replacing so it easily fits into the metal case in the wall that the other one used with room to spare. I like the fact that the intake slots are in the sides. It has a remote and it uses WiFi so you can monitor it using the app on your phone. What's not to like!

Needed an AC to cool my main living space which has high ceilings and this unit does a fabulous job. The fan is strong and circulates the cool air effectively. It is amazingly quiet and the install was straightforward. I do recommend using a bracket to support the weight of it, especially if you are not planning to screw it into the sill.

This LG smart air conditioner is perfect. It cools and dries several rooms, runs very quietly and efficiently. The LG app on my phone lets me control it very easily, which is even better than the remote, and indicates when to clean the filter (also super simple). Sleep mode is soothing, whisper quiet and will turn off when desired. The installation by Best Buy Total Tech was also great. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Brand new so we’ll see how long it lasts, but first impression is that its very quiet and keeps the room cool. Power bill dropped a bit compared to old GE unit. It is very heavy, would recommend some kind of bracket to help secure it in the window.
