Great 4K HDR 3-D TV however not the best in dark rooms but overall a really good TV

This tv really is great! I've read many reviews & specs on several website forums & decided on this TV: 1) because I am not ready for OLED and 2) wanted to switch from Samsung to LG. 3) very favorable reviews 4) will last w/ new technology changes 5) lightweight for my pivotal mount

Purchased this TV in Feb 2017. It worked great up until about 3 weeks ago. Apparently, LG is having an issue with MANY of their models (check google for LG TV WiFi issues) regarding WiFi disconnecting for no reason. I had been using an ethernet connection up until 3 months ago, Now I'm using WiFi with a new modem. It was working fine until the WiFi disconnected. I thought it was my internet provider but, after investigating the internet comments, it's the TV. LG knows about the issue and has offered a complicated fix....so, I have to suck it up and continue to re-log on to my WiFi each time I turn the set on (it stays on as long as the TV is on but when the TV is off, the connection is lost)… that is until I buy a new TV and it won't be an LG model.

I like me the picture, but the remote is annoying.

I bought this TV knowing that LG is trying to be good quality for the price. I only had the product 8 months before the main circuit board failed as did the power receptacle. I exchanged it for a comparable Samsung and am amazed how much better Samsung is. I've always liked LG until this experience.

If you don't have enough $$ for OLED, this is a great alternative. WebOS is fast, super thin, and 4k video looks great. Dark colors...not so much, but a small trade-off for the price.

I am fascinated with the abilities of this TV, I have had it now for 3 weeks and am still learning about the different functions and APPs.

I love my new 55" LG 4K UHD 240 motion rate TV. It's a step ahead of the others. I couldn't ask for a better quality picture and very easy to use one remote does it all. Every home should own a LG 4K UHD or OLED from LG.

We were torn between this and a Samsung sUHD. Either would be a good buy for the price you can get them at now. This tv was hyped up by the salesman, but overall is ok. It hasn't disappointed but it hasn't made me think its better than the Samsung.

Excellent TV. Picture is vivid and clear. Also it's thin profile is perfect for my family room.

We have purchased 3 other LG tv's and all have been excellent. I would recommend this tv.

This is the best tv I have ever owned. I have owned s few Samsungs, but this takes the prise. Great tv.

After waiting a month two pickups emails and went to the store and tell me is not there i just received my broken LG 55uh85 now I'm in a big return line in best buy Puerto Rico store 1118 and I imagine they don't have replacement for this tv or give a better one for the time I lost, to be sarcastic I'm so happy to be a best buy client I can't recommend this tv cause don't have chance to use thanks best buy

So far im enjoying it. It has good colors. The 3d is great as well. Highly recommend, buy it!

The TV is fine, Bought it from Best Buy, Had limited documentation and Had to call LG for some directions & programming.

It is a great tv colors that look great in movies more 4k and 3d much better
