Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class C9PUA Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the gaming capabilities and the future-proofing provided by the HDMI 2.1 ports. While some find the remote control difficult to use and the TV expensive, concerns about burn-in and the unattractive design when wall-mounted are also mentioned.

Many times picture quality troubles can be resolved with a few tweaks to the settings. We have a help library article that recommends the settings for getting the best picture settings: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT10000018-20150577528034-menu-settings If you're in need of some guidance with using your TV, please head to our support page at @LGUSSupport on Twitter or you can give us a call at 800-243-0000 so a specialist can help out. ^CP LG

Not the best choice for me

At this time of year, I mainly watch nhl.tv. The LG web browser is absolutely horrible! The picture keeps freezing. Then I have to refresh the browser. It takes so long to refresh that I miss some of the game. I do have the option of rewinding...10 seconds at a time. What a pain! Some times after the picture freezes, it will eventually start again. But then the picture judders. If I try to watch through my laptop and connect via HDMI, the picture judders. This never happened with my 15-year old tv. It might all be worth it if the picture was awesome but it really isn't. I will add that I don't have this issue when I watch Hulu, but I still wish I had returned it.

1St TV was open Box , had problems TV. We were told by the salesman that the only reason it was returned was too big for the room from the previous customer. There were problems with the TV itself. Returned it. They charged us to bring the 2nd TV to our house and pick up the first one. My husband and I thought it was very unfair that we were charged for pick up and delivery on a TV that was defective. We paid them because it was the only way I could get the TV to my house at the time. I had help available on the first TV but once the problem was determined (a 2-day process) they charged us to deliver the 2nd TV.

Great tv overall. My only complaint is that when it came to mounting it, it wouldn’t. Turns out there wasn’t any internal brackets to mount it.

The cabling doe not allow the articulate arm on TV to work. I purchased new cables and he did not use them. He should have checked this out prior to departing house.

Well I would have originally given this product an excellent review, but after 1 year of use, I already have pixels blowing out. I am very disappointed that right after the warranty goes out, so do the pixels! Too much money for this lack of quality, funny I had the same problem with a LG fridge. They are built to work for 1 year it seems. What a shame, it could have been a great TV,

    Doesn't work with headset

I don't really hate this TV, but it doesn't work with a headset. To me, that is fatal. My airpods paired fine and I could use the bluetooth for a few seconds, but the Sound Out would jump back to HDMI ARC right away. I tried many times and tried a Bose headset, same thing. And an outrageous thing is that when I asked the LG tech support to recommend a pair of headset, she told me that "You can try other headsets, but we can't guarantee it'll be stable. Headsets are not meant to work on TV, they are for phones and computers". I wanted to tell her that's bull****, but felt it wasn't nice. I did tell her both my Samsung and Roku work well with my airpods though. Another flaw of this TV is the remote can get stuck from time to time. Otherwise, it's a fine TV. I could have given a 3 star, but I felt it's a shame LG dares to call their TV smart TV without fixing this problem in this era, and for that, one star is appropriate.

LG - 65" OLED Simply the BEST

We had to replace one of the original OLED LG TV's. Through the years we paid attention to the sales pitch "OLED is the best picture" We always looked as we passed TV displays and the conclusion was the same. It was true. We went from a 55" to a 65" and love it.

    Expensive Paperweight

I bought this model in April 2020 for $2,400, after taxes. Seven months later, I'm left with a very expensive paperweight. The TV worked brilliantly until this week. Once turned on, horizontal lines appear on the screen and it turns itself off, all within 20 seconds. It's inoperable. We contacted LG Customer Service and are now waiting for the repair shop to contact us for a time to look at the unit. At least one other reviewer on Best Buy had this same problem and from what I read on various other sites, it may be an issue with the power board. All I know is I take meticulous care of my electronics and it's unacceptable to have this issue SEVEN months after owing the product. Buyer beware, and consider taking out an extended warranty.

    Utter disappointment

So...after researching this TV and reading countless reviews finally pulled the trigger. Picked it up today and was so excited until I plugged it in. Vertical red, blue, and yellow lines down the left side of the screen then the LG symbol just swirled and then the unit cut off. Tried for an hour and every troubleshooting step under the Sun to no avail. Took it back and was so disgusted. Only bright side was the customer service of the young man that waited on me both times. He was top notch and most helpful.

After reading all the reviews and seeing the tv in person at the store, I thought I'd be blown away by the picture. I am not. My Sony 65 4K TV has a better picture. as well as my Samsung 55 older model tv. I messed around with the setting and I read about the truemotion and turned that off. Nothing made it less blurry. Don't get me wrong, the picture was nice but not better than may old TV. I am not paying over 2 grand to be less than impressed. I am returning it soon. Also, the stand was a major pain to assemble. So disappointed. I wanted to love this TV...but I don't.
