I’ve been eyeing this TV for some time, so when I saw the outstanding Black Friday sale…I took advantage of it. It is SO vivid and quite the upgrade from my previous C8 that we had…we absolutely are thrilled with it. The picture quality is unreal, and the profile is absolutely amazingly thin. It’s fits like a piece of art if you use the mount provided or if you have existing mount you can use that as well. I ended up opting for using my existing mount because of the height on the wall (above fireplace) and its viewing angle.

Great TV! Very happy with our purchase of the LG Class G5 Series OLED TV. Sharp picture with great contrast! Sound is fabulous. Geek Squad installation is the best also!

Replaced our 2016 LG G5 (which didn't need replacing, but that's a story for another day). Picture quality is definitely more vibrant. I'm not a TV aficionado, but I read/watch expert reviews and this TV always came at or near the very top. Did put this up against the comparable Samsung. The LG had a crisper picture.

Had to get a new TV after my last LG OLED C9 died after almost 6 years, decided to make the jump up to the G series and it’s a substantial difference in quality to make it one of the best TVs I have ever seen.
I mainly watch movies and game on my TV - this TV handles both in spades. It has all the bells and whistles for current gen consoles, including VRR support, 120 fps, and Dolby Vision for gaming on the Series X. The OLED panel is top of class with one of highest nit ratings for how bright the panel can get when using HDR, meaning you will get absolutely gorgeous visuals with high contrast on screen, all with incredible clarity. Response time for gaming is very good with game mode on, and best yet is this TV does not drop visual clarity nearly as much when Game Mode is activated.
It’s an expensive TV but if you are looking for one that is worth every penny, I can’t recommend it enough. It will genuinely make you say “Whoa” when you are checking out 4K content

I have a very bright family room and LG G5 is working great! Love the colors and brightness coming out of this tv at any time of the day. However, the TV Remote is terrible. Other than that high marks from my side!

This television delivers a strong overall viewing experience and is well worth considering for everyday use. The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, with clear details and good color balance, making movies, shows, and sports enjoyable to watch. Even in brighter rooms, the screen performs well without too much glare.

I just got this TV delivered a couple of days ago so this is an instant impressions review. So far, the TV looks fantastic and works wonderfully well. The reason for the deducted star is the awful user interface. When I turned on the TV I was immediately inundated with a car ad audio included. I was able to disable the ad but that left the upper right area of the home screen blank except for a fixed still photo. I've enjoyed using a Google TV streamer on my previous TV so I bought the new 4k version. That provides a much better user interface but at an additional expense. I definitely suggest changing the picture control to cinema or filmmaker as the default out of the box setting is way too blue. At least to my taste. I may update this review if longer term use leads to new opinions. I don't use TV speakers so really don't have any opinion on the TV's audio. I connect through an optical cable to my stereo system.

Good visual quality, the four stack tandem OLED display makes a noticeable difference compared to previous models. A lot brighter now which also reflects on the contrast, and the default settings make the color tone more true to life compared to previous models.

The picture quality in the TV is amazing bright clear overall couldn’t have chosen a better TV.
The people that work in the Mesquite Best Buy know what they’re talking about whenever they’re selling these TVs they convinced me 10 out of 10
The only thing I recommend getting a sound bar and any TV you end up buying sound quality is horrible even on the best TVs

Purchased as open box and very pleased with value and quality. Onboard speaker is much louder and clearer than the Sony Bravia this replaced. Wifi connection faster and more stable as well. Picture quality very clear and bright.

Positives:
The picture quality is fantastic. The internals (processors) added a new dimension to gaming.
Negatives:
The initial set up has very much to be desired. TV's I have bought in the past were very intuitive guiding the user step by step. Basically, I had to Google way too many things in order to set the TV to the desired setting.
Buyers note, this does not come with a table stand only a wall mount. My home set is table stand application. Universal table stands are very expensive and flimsy. I ended up buying the LG stand directly from LG at $100.00. An expense I wasn't happy about. I take the blame on this as the description says One Wall Design. However, my sales associate was aware of my desire for a table stand. An honest mistake on both our parts because I was originally looking at the C4 model (table stand) and upgraded to the C5 model.

Display screen is awesome. It took me a minute to adjust the screen brightness/color/contrast by searching on YouTube to find a good setting that works for me. It is definitely lighter then my G1 65
Cons
1. Update the tv. Next-Gen antenna is not showing up even though it is list as part of LG specs for G5 series.
2. I do not like the new remote it sucks it does not give me the ability to enter the number.
So far these are the reasons why I can give it 5 stars.

An amazing T.V.! It defintely exceeded expectations by performing admirably in a bright room with a wide seating arrangement. Color and contrast is also phenomenal. A shout out to the Best Buy staff for their advice on this purchase.

Great TV for the price. Picture quality is sharp, colors look good, and setup was quick and easy. Sound is decent, but I paired it with a soundbar and it’s perfect. Overall, very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid TV without overspending.
