Bought this dryer to replace one from a decade ago that was not drying anything without being in there for 2 hours. This has great 50 minute cycles and a jazzy song for when it's done. Great for the price.

This is a good, basic dryer with all of the drying options (except steam drying, but that's $300 extra). Happy with the purchase. Good for what I wanted & a good value.

I like this dryer for the most part, however, I am having trouble learning how to pick the right program for my uses. My last dryer was much less complicated but it was 23 years old when it quit.

When best buy came they were so nice! They installed everything. I only needed to side vent it myself with the lg kit. I would definitely purchase again

It can handle a large load of clothes and dries them just fine. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because if I want to run the dryer for a few minutes to get the wrinkles out it shuts off because it recognizes that the clothes are already dry.

When drying a small load of clothes on the “normal cycle” sometimes it still leaves them damp even when I select the very dry option. So, I have to change it to the timed option so it can fully dry

This LG Dryer is just fantastic. It has lots of bells and whistles. I believe more than I will ever use. But it's nice to have them. It worked perfectly from the day they came and installed it.

We have just started to use the product. Looks good so far. Its control panel is not easy to understand and one has to download a full manual to understand.
Still do not know how to register our product for warranty.
Beware Best Buy Installation Electric Shock Hazard

We purchased the dryer along with professional installation services. Upon delivery, the installer assured my wife that grounding the unit was unnecessary. Despite her reservations, she reluctantly allowed them to leave without grounding the appliance. After their departure, my wife contacted LG directly and was informed that the dryer does require grounding unless connected via a 4-prong outlet—which was not the case in our installation. The LG representative further explained that failure to properly ground the dryer could result in electric shock.
Concerned for our safety, I immediately contacted the installer to request that he return and complete the installation correctly. He insisted grounding was unnecessary, refused to return, and then hung up on me.
I then contacted Best Buy customer service and spoke with Oscar. While polite, he was ultimately unhelpful and informed me that we would have to wait 24–48 hours for a response. I requested to speak with a supervisor. After several long holds, I was told that someone would return my call within 35 minutes. An hour later, I received a call from Dave, who was professional and courteous, but unable to resolve the issue because the order was still “open.” He assured me someone would follow up later that day or by the next day at the latest—this follow-up never occurred.
When my wife called again on Monday morning, she was informed that Best Buy would not return to ground the unit. She then requested a return and was told we would be responsible for both the restocking fee and the haul-away fee. When she asked to escalate the matter, she was again told we would receive a call within 24–48 hours…….waiting…..
