Buyer beware don’t buy anything for Christmas ahead of time from Best Buy. Trying to squeeze a buck. I will just buy from Amazon.

To find the "correct" software, you'll need the serial / product code. Windows device manager detects the webcam but the Logitech software does not detect its own hardware. Laughable!

The Webcam Market Must Really Suck

Not even a website or app listed anywhere on or in the box. Cheap plastic product that feels like it's going to break by touching it. The box contains actual pictures of a different product when explaining how to unfold it. That's right. The only instructions in the entire package tell you how to literally unfold it. That's it. I'll never by Logitech trash ever again.

I bought this as a requirement for a side view camera for an exam. The camera was unable to read my photo ID when I held it up to the camera. It was blurry no matter has close or how far I placed the ID. I had to return it. This is the second camera I tried. It was too late to try to order another one before my exam. I had to use the front facing camera on my computer to read the ID. Unacceptable for a camera that costs this much money! Also there was no screw on adapter to mount this camera to a tripod.

The 4K is one of our top quality cameras in every aspect. Were you plugging it into a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port? Also, were you using a USB hub? Because of the amount of data being pushed through at 4k, it is best to plug the webcam directly into a USB 3.0 port on the computer. Also, you can adjust your zoom manually (or the sensitivity of the auto zoom) using our Logitech Capture software. I was trying to use it with MacOS and downloaded all the necessary updates etc. Every time I joined an online meeting the camera would create some sort of high pitched feedback noise. The Logitech software is also such nuisance.

Great Picture, Not Great For Low Light
