I wanted to buy a headset that I could use both for gaming and work. Due to the dock I can easily switch between systems. I use this headset for my office job when I work from home and I have not had any complaints about not being able to hear me or low volume. Of course, I also use this for gaming and it is excellent. Although the headset may look big and heavy it does NOT feel like that at all. I can very easily wear this headset for an extended period of time. However, I will note I wear glasses and one of pair of glasses does tend to press down on the side of the head after a while, but that is case by case issue. I use this headset across all platforms; my PC, Xbox, and another my work computer and I have no issues between switching between platforms. The only con I have is sometimes the padding of the headset can get a bit warm during the summer and on hot humid days. But that is also a case by case problem. Another issue is the price, of course I wish this was a bit cheaper, but you are definitely paying for what you get which is a big package and in my opinion its worth it. So if anyone is looking for a reliable and good performing headset, I would recommend this headset.

I recently got the A50 Gen 5, and overall I’m really impressed: the PLAYSYNC Audio is a game-changer — I can switch seamlessly between my Xbox, PC, and Switch with just one button, which is super convenient. The PRO-G Graphene drivers deliver crisp, detailed sound, and the 24-bit LIGHTSPEED wireless connection feels clean and lag-free. I also like the 24-hour battery life + the base station dock — it’s really practical to just drop it on the dock when I’m done. On the flip side, the comfort isn’t perfect: the clamp is a little tight and the headband pressed on my head more than I expected, which gave me a headache after long sessions. Some folks (including me) noticed the stock earpads leak sound and could have been better — I ended up wanting to upgrade them. Also, the Astro Command Center software isn’t super intuitive, and I ran into a couple of annoying firmware update issues where I had to reset the headset.

Snagged one during the Black Friday sales, headset is unbelievably comfortable and the ear covers breathe really well. Going from a wired (to the controller) headset to wireless has been a surprisingly nice change as I've never cared for wireless before. Feedback from friends I play with say the mic sounds crystal clear. Hard to swallow spending the full MSRP on a headset but these are definitely worth it when you can get it on sale.

The Logitech A50 Lightspeed is easily the best gaming headset I’ve owned. I use both a PC and a PlayStation, and switching between them is absolutely seamless—no need to mess with cords or settings, it just works. The wireless performance is flawless, with zero lag or dropouts, and the sound quality is crystal clear with strong bass and detail. One of my favorite features is being able to connect my phone via Bluetooth at the same time. I can play and still listen to music or take a call without interrupting the game—it’s a total game-changer. Comfort is also top-tier; I can wear these for hours without any fatigue. If you want premium sound, effortless device switching, and the convenience of dual connectivity, the A50 Lightspeed is worth every cent.

I’ve had it for about a month now and it’s been great. Mic sounds crisp and clean, ear muffs sit comfortably on my head, and overall it’s been great. At first I was wary about the charging station but it makes it easy to remember to charge them and the battery life on them is great to. I got this for my pc. if you’re on the fence about this one or the $400 dollar version it doesn’t make a difference on pc only consoles. I did some research on it and that is what I figured out. So pc players save yourself a $100 bucks and get this version. It syncs well to the Logitech app on pc too and there’s a bunch of presets others have made for music or specific games on audio and for mic. Overall love them and would recommend

Great set, connects way better than the older ones. No connection issues so far. Bluetooth connects easily and automatic to secondary devices like phones for texts and media audio. Drivers are comparable to previous generation (dont seem to be missing out by upgrading) battery lasts longer than 12 hours at max volume. Range is comparable to previous owned version. Sits on dock much easier than previous versions. Mic quality upgraded to being comparable to blue yeti stand alone mic. Much better. Works great with Logitech Ghub. Astro software has not been needed once. All cables needed for pc gaming were included and of high quality.

Sound is good and comfortable for me. Wanted to cut down on the amount of wires I was using for my previous Astros. which this helped by only needing the power cord and the 2 usb c port cables I need . I use it with my ps5 and pc and it switches easily between both. For the price it was a great deal for me.

Absolutely no need to go the A50X if you're simply a PC gamer. This works perfectly as advertised, extremely extremely comfortable. I upgraded from the Steel Series Arctis Pros that I already thought were comfortable and good quality. These blow those out of the water regarding weight, earcup comfortability, sound, settings, firmware.

I used the Astro A50 3rd generation headset for years and absolutely loved it—so I wasn’t sure how much better the 5th generation could really be. And I even explored many other headsets to see which would have the best audiophile (SoundCloud X, Berydynamics MMX330 pro openback, Astro A30, Astro A40). But man, Astro knocked it out of the park with this one. The sound quality, comfort, and overall performance are top-tier. It’s clear they refined everything that made the older version great and somehow made it even better. The wireless connection is seamless, the battery life is solid, and the updated base station is a nice touch. I’m not paid or sponsored to say this—I just rarely come across a product this dialed in. If you’re on the fence, take the leap. The 5th gen A50s are the real deal.

Its a solid headset with a cool design sounds amazing for music and games but does lack the ability to take it on the go but tbh being a pricy headset why would you i do like that it has two ways to charge it whether its on the dock or c-type usb

By far the best headset for gaming we’ve had, it’s easy to switch from pc and PlayStation. Sound quality is top notch and on point. Comfortable to wear hours at a time. Great battery life as well.

These headset are hands down the best ones i bought so far! Their pricey but worth it if you have the funds their comfortable, loud, got good bass, the adjustment on them are nice and the mic is good my friends tell me i sound clear and loud. You can also connect your phone to the headset while gaming and listen to music. Battery life is also good on them. I have bought many different headset like turtle beach, steel series, and other brands and these astro 50 are first pair of the astro brand ive bought and are the best headset ive had! Happy i was able to finally buy this one!

I had the A50s and these are very similar to those. These are more comfortable, better sound quality, don't disconnect randomly like the other ones did, and are very flexible. I think for the price they are a great buy. There are times I have to take them off because the sound is so good I think something is going on in my house, but it's just sounds in the game you don't notice until you have these on. Highly recommend.

great headset, even though it is a little pricy. sits in your head perfectly and can connect to your phone at the same time. high quality and great charging

Love this sound quality is amazing only issue i have is charging it. It has to be in an exact position to charge and can be a pain, cant just put it on the dock and walk away. For the price you'd think it would be easy. But other than that it sounds great soft ears it is not noise canceling

Very light weight and fits perfectly over the ears. Not too bulky or hard on the ears. Audio is very clear. Easy setup and quick charge rate. I originally had the Astro A40 but I really love the A50 wireless version even better.

Very great sound quality and it never dies with the charging station. Love the look of it and the feel. Amazing headset overall just a little pricey though.

The packaging consisted of a big boxes with everything wrapped up nicely inside. The instructions were easy to follow on how to plug everything up and get it going. I already had LGHUB installed and after plugging the headphones in, they immediately were recognized and started working. The headphone only had 1% battery out of the box so I fully charged it before its first use (about 4 hours). They are super comfortable and sound really good. Best wireless headphones I've used to date.

Straight up awesome headset for a computer desk. The dock and setup looks so cool. They sound great and have good controls. My negative would be that the only option to charge is in the dock. For long days, you can't plug them in to keep going.
