This headset sounds great but can be complicated to find the optimal settings on console...PS5 for my case....you can set it up with USB C or HDMI but there are downsides to certain games you play using one or the other....the headset itself sounds great and is top notch comfort as long as you setup the height correctly etc. Feels high quality mine came in with no scratches. It is slightly overpriced though but I went for it just in case I ever got a different console along side my PS5, the mic is probably the best too on wireless gaming headsets. It's all about what you want, I'm currently testing the pulse elites as well which sound great..but on certain games I preferred the A50x more and vice versa....all in all you want something that's going to be comfortable on your head and sound good. I recommend if you have the money, you have to pay to play on this one. Lastly it depends on your setup, you need everything close together in one area if you want to switch seamlessly between your consoles or PC...if you have separate setups you probably need to look elsewhere.

Really solid headset always fully charged and ready to go when I hop on with my boys! My longest session was 9hrs and it still had 3 bars of baytery left and comfy all the way never felt heavy and the ears felt nice and soft. Its super cool how I connected my phone blutooth and it works at the same time with my PS5 which is great to have phone calls while gaming!

This was my second A50, and my 3rd Astro headset. Loved the sound and the comfort. Battery like was acceptable. My only complaint is the build quality. All 3 of my Astro headsets have had issues. My original A50’s the strap section the goes on top of you head separated. This one the plastic broke near one of the ear pieces. I was able to fix both issue but I still feel these things should not have happened considering I take great care of my headsets. This headset just up and quit charging. I love Astro but I’m being forced to move on due to build quality. At this price point I expect them to last longer than they are

Wow! I had gen 2 astro a50s that were finally starting to wear out on the cushions, power button and volume wheel. Decided to try this over the steel series because a friend had one and while that is a good headset it doesnt have logitech lightspeed(which i fell in love with on my mouse). The audio is better than that head set and can get louder. Lots of people creating eq’s for this headset to bring the most out of it. If you get a bass eq, your vision will literally get a little blurry from how much this headset thumps. Logitechs ghub makes it easy to find what you are looking for. The battery LiPo battery is replaceable too if it starts to degrade. The LiPo battery makes the headset charge quicker than anything else I have seen. The mic quality is unmatched. This is the new all in one gaming headset king. (P.S. i highly recommend the wicked cushions. They make the headset even more comfortable and lock in the sound. EQ’s specifically tuned for those cushions as well!)

They sound good. They are light weight and feel comfortable around my ears. I came from the arctis nova pro wireless, and those after a few hours made my ears hurt even with after market ear cushions. I only gave 3 stars because to price is way steep. I got them on a sale

I pre-ordered mine through Logitech and got it a couple days after Christmas. Set up out of the box was quick since everything is color coded. The fit feels comfortable, wireless connection is solid, and the graphite drivers sound great. The wireless EQ app and Bluetooth sync were needed additions. Cushions from the Gen4 will fit these

First impression of this headset was that the build quality feels nice. It doesnt feel cheap despite some of the plastic parts. Secondly, the headset is so comfortable i legit forget i am wearing it sometimes. I will get up from my PC desk and go lay down only to realize I'm still wearing it. Seriously, i don't even notice it. I got this headset on Friday, its currently Tuesday and I'm barely charging it on the dock for the very first time. I do not regret this buy. Mic quality is the best of any headset I've owned, and the sound might need some personal EQ, out of the box i was not a fan of the 3 default settings, however thats my own bias, by no means did any setting out of the box sound horrible. 10/10

I've had these for a few weeks now. I haven't been gaming on my PC as much recently but I've used the A50xs whenever I need to use it. I got used to these quickly but the look, feel, comfort, sound quality, is all better. You notice it instantly when you switch between an old pair. My a50s are years old but they held up great. I hope the a50xs are the same because they feel so. 4* because they're way too expensive but I had a gift card. I really wanted a headset that could work on my xbox, ps, and PC easily, and I was already used to the Astro series. So I guess it's worth the price in my case. I'm torn on keeping the same design because it's worked great for years, but for $400 there could be something special or better material.

Headset is light, can hold a very long charge and has really good range. I upgraded from an astro A50 gen 3 and the difference is very noticeable. Lots of customization options with the Dolby app to fit your needs whether its gaming or watching movies. Careful handling the white version as smudges are more noticable.

I cannot express how incredible these headphones are. The quality is unmatched, the audio is impeccable, and they’re very comfortable to wear; especially for long periods of time. This purchase has completely elevated my gaming setup. Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to take their setup to the next level!

The ability to use bluetooth and the docking station makes all the difference. Really great headset, has a very nice, flat frequency reaponse which makes eqing a lot easier. And its confirtable tk wear for hours. Cant recommend enough!

Great headphones. All my friends kept commenting about how nice and crispy I sounded over the mic. Love being able to toggle between my different systems with just a press of a button.

Really great headset; fantastic sound, providing 24bit 48khz audio. Bought two sets for my boys. Just a couple tips: make sure you have a good HDMI cable for adding the base station. If you are going dude there are 50 million brands to choose from then check out Club3D's cables; superb cables, fair price. Next, for PS5 setup the directions are just wrong. Do not do the whole set ps5 audio output to TV, setting linear PCM, and configure 3D audio with the skipping the room measurement nonsense. Set it to AV Tuner and then to 7.1 channels. Set your format priority to Dolby Atmos and enjoy.

Hands down my favorite headsets I've owned. Extremely comfortable and light to wear and the top cushion is the life of the party. It allows continuous hours gaming. I had the Audeze LCD-GX (I am not in any shape or form an audiophile) but they were very uncomfortable for people with glasses (and a big head) and heavy for more than 2 hour use and I really felt like I overspent on the headphones. I could tell the difference from that or the Logi G-Pro X but did I understand the exact differences? No. I didn't like the open loop headsets because I could hear outside noises and there was very little bass even was a DAC AMP (which was unnecessary). The Astro A50 X answered all my insecurities I had with the LCD-GX. It has the boom bass when a bomb or guns go off. I can even hear when a hand touches a table by mistake on a YouTube video I believe the drivers are amazing. Sound quality is great Music is fun again. Mic quality.. I think its fine.. people hear me pretty fine that's all I need. Were not making a film production were playing video games here. However, the Bluetooth functionality.. is very weird. I am not sure if I am doing anything wrong but I have 2 PC's one in the living room one in the office (the Hub is in the office btw). I connected headset to the Bluetooth downstairs in the living room but the sound is horrific. It sounds like everything is at a very low frequency and very far. I am not sure if the base/hub is where the bluetooth is connecting to or if the headset has the bluetooth chip connected to the PC or if my headset is messed up. I was not able to play Helldivers 2 in my living room :(. I may have to do further investigation. Outside of that, these are the greatest headsets I've owned to date. It answered all my gaming and music needs at home. The connection to the base is very solid and the quality is great. I hope everyone can feel that their gaming setup is complete like I do with these headsets. Thanks Logitech for this masterful product that fits my big as head with glasses!
