Best gaming/office. Between the mouse sensitivity, added weight, customized through app, overall extremely ergonomic feel and no carpal tunnel

Possible replacement for the Corsair Ironclaw?

For me it was not the mouse I had hoped so I had to return it.
I have what can be considered a large-size hand (about 4 1/2in/11.4cm in width, about 7 1/2in/19cm in length from palm base to top of middle finger) and I prefer to use the palm grip on computer mice.
My current daily driver is the Corsair Ironclaw wired with a broken scroll wheel (apparently the scroll wheel is known to be a problem from Corsair mice but I digress). Doing some researching online, the G502 X was mentioned as a possible palm mouse replacement.
I bought the Ironclaw wired at the time on sale for $50 and and bought the G502 X wired on sale for $60.
The Ironclaw wired has a tall and wide body where I can generally rest my hand in a comfortable palm grip so my pinky finger isn't being dragged across the mouse pad. The G502 X wired is a bit shorter so I had to cup the body more, not as wide so my pinky finger is hanging off the mouse so it's rubbing the mouse pad, and not as long so I had to switch to a semi-claw grip.
The Ironclaw wired has a braided cable while the G502 X wired does not.

Ive been a long time fan of logitech products. Specifically their mice. I had prevuously been using a naga pro from razer after my logitech g500 finally died qfter 5 long years of use. However my naga pro barely lasted 2 before experiencing issues with the middle mouse click. I picked this up on whim. My partner using the g502 hero daily for 3 years now. Im surprised as to how comfortable it is in the hand despire it's size. Time will tell if it brcomes a proper replacement for my love of mmo style mice.

Overall, it's a good mouse with many of the same features as the classic G502. I've used the G502 mouse for 6+ years and I was curious to see how this version compared.
A little disappointed by the cable this mouse has, as they got rid of the reinforced braided cable. I can understand why they chose this design, but for durability, it is underwhelming.
If you are used to the G502, be warned this model feels different in the hand. Not in a bad way, but it will take some adjustments. I like the weight of the mouse and the customizable Gshift button which makes the button larger and easier to reach. I also appreciate them doing away with the option weights.

I’m very happy with my purchase of this mouse. I got this mouse as I used to have a G502 hero but the click button were known to fail frequently.
Upon finding this mouse I was excited to have found a mouse with similar characteristics to the G502 hero that I liked other than the click button failure.
After using this mouse for a while I’m happy to report that it functions exactly as I wanted without any issues after a few months.

Best modern gaming mouse with quick wheel, enough programmable buttons and comfortable in hand. The wireless version seems a bit inferior for my purposes because of battery life so I went wired. The only hiccup is the horrible Logi G software. Their old software, Setpoint, was much more reliable.
We appreciate your feedback on the Logitech G502 X Wired USB Gaming Mouse. It's great to hear that you value its features like the quick wheel, programmable buttons, and comfort. We understand your preference for a wired connection and will consider your feedback regarding the Logitech G HUB software.

Works great but to get it working on the Mac you have to add Logitech G HUB to: Privacy & Security > Input Monitoring and also to Accessibility
Your feedback regarding the Logitech G502 X's Mac compatibility is important to us. We understand the need to adjust Privacy & Security settings for G HUB. Your detailed instructions will be helpful to others.

This is personally my favorite mouse, in a cheaper and faster form. I like a wide mouse with a bit of weight to it. The many programmable buttons on this help a ton and logitechs software is great.
Thanks for the great feedback! We're thrilled the G502 X has become your new favorite mouse. We're especially glad you appreciate the improved speed, design, programmable buttons, and our software. We appreciate you sharing your experience!

Great gaming mouse with modular button. You can also have different bindings to the extra buttons then the default DPI bindings.

Very comfortable to use, and works as expected. The additional buttons work very well for my gaming needs.
That's fantastic to hear! We're glad you're enjoying the precision and control of the G502 X's HERO 25K sensor. It's perfect for gamers who demand the best. Thanks for choosing Logitech!

Lightweight, functions well , more refined new look compared to G 502. G502x is newer model.

Great mouse! I love the DPI adjustment buttons on the mouse itself, which is important for gaming. Some games (Overwatch) require different DPI depending on character choice. I can quickly adjust my mouse settings using the buttons on the mouse without interfering with gaming. It is light and although wired, the wire doesn't affect its use.
