For background, I use my keyboard for both work and pleasure (gaming/video editing). The keyboard allows me to effortlessly and seamlessly switch between devices through bluetooth and its Lightspeed connection. It takes less than second for the board to connect and it remembers the profile you have set up for each device. These profiles are INCREDIBLY useful. You're able to customize 4 different modes for both connection types. Using GHUB (Logitech's software), you can create specific macros for each "G" key on the far-left side of the keyboard and have specific lighting setups depending on your mood or game. The level of customization that this keyboard offers is insane! For gamers, one handy little feature available is the "game mode" key on the top of the keyboard that locks the "Windows" key and stops it from being accidently pressed. It can be turned on and off whenever you'd like and has definitely saved me in a few firefights :) The build of the keyboard is incredibly sturdy and has a bit of weight to it. This makes it so it doesn't get moved around easily and stays very secure wherever you have it. I can't recommend this keyboard enough for gamers, creatives, and Excel enthusiasts. Logitech does not play about its high-end PC products.

I’ve used other gaming keyboards for years, and I have to say, despite not being from a “gaming” brand, this keyboard not only feels way more premium than others, but also offers way more customization than many others. Its layout also does a good job of excluding redundant functions like the numlock. I also really like how many programable keys it offers.

At first the price scared me away $225 for a keyboard is quite expensive, if that is to expensive to you don't try the display what is laying there, you will be hooked and can't resist of coming back and buy it anyways even if it means ramen for the next 4 weeks. I tried it and the feel of the button actuation is amazingly satisfying, with every key strike you feel rewarded. After one year of use for gaming and daily business the coating on some keys wear off. But overall outstanding.

I really like the clicky keys on this keyboard. The battery life is excellent and the design/look is very clean. The new version of the Logitech software allows for some cool RGB effects. It’s pricey but the quality is good.

I lovw this keyboard. Great type-feel and very pleased witht he quality of the materials used. Great design, possibly excluding the little gel buttons that provide extra functions, but they are not too bad. All in all a great design and feels good to use. MicroUSB is dated AF but doesn't bother me bcause I strictly use it as a wired keyboard honestly... might be more annoying if you were actually using it for wireless functionality.

This keyboard is simply amazing. I have used large cherry style keyboards for probably 30 years now. It's always simply my favorite. Then I picked up a MBP and fell in love with that keyboard which is extremely different. When I found this I knew it would be somewhere in between and I was right. It's not as tall but you still get the great feedback of a taller mechanical keyboard but don't need a wrist rest. I can type faster on this with less errors than any previous keyboard PLUS the response time is amazing for gaming using the dongle rather than bluetooth. Highly recommend!

I had wanted this keyboard for a long time and saved towards getting it. I have to say that it was worth the wake. Not only are the macros keys amazing and located in a super convenient area on the left-hand side. The typing experience on this keyboard is one that is worth saving up to get this keyboard and offers both a Wireless and Bluetooth option the both show no signs of lag response. Although I’m not gaming on this keyboard You can very easily do so as there is no lag response between clicks. The only real complaint that I actually have about the keyboard is the location of the escape key is not completely in the upper left-hand side corner of the keyboard but that is being nitpicky.

Nice Small/Lo Profile Wireless Mechanical KB

On the expensive side, but it has a low/small profile for a mechanical KB and the clicky feels just right for work and play. The build quality is very nice considering how thin it is. I have been using it every day for a few months and I have not had any issues. I love that fact that I can easily take it off my desk to clear space.

    From an amateur gamer

I went through a few keyboards before I settled on the G915 (and most recently, its little brother TKL), so in a way, I guess I'll review them both here. My first "gaming" keyboard was part of the Steelseries gaming bundle (headset, mouse, keyboard, and mousepad). I liked that keyboard, it had plenty of feedback, but the keys just felt too tall. Tried again with a Razer Blackwidow. Again, good feedback, keys are a touch tall. Then I came across these two in the store. At first I settled on the clicky, because ~C L I C K Y~. Oh my god, is it clicky. I could be playing Minecraft, typing an angry letter, or playing some COD:CW, it wouldn't matter. It is LOUD. Unfortunately, that's what I love about it, but it's possibly entirely too loud to have in small quarters with a roommate (like a dorm room or a shared bedroom). Enter the TKL. Virtually silent, but still good feedback. I didn't want to wait for the clicky version of the TKL to come in, and I wanted to spare my fiancé's ears while she slept, so I got the TKL tactile. In my opinion, it's the better of the two, as there's not a row of G buttons down the left side (and I tend to over/underreach for the escape button--I'll be mashing it to no effect until I notice I'm actually hitting G1). Smaller, more portable, and an odd omission on the G915 becomes glaringly obvious on the G915 TKL: a slot for the USB dongle. The TKL has one, but its big brother doesn't? Maybe it's for the increased portability, but I still think it's an odd omission. As far as connections, I notice zero lag between the Lightspeed 2.4Gh and the Bluetooth; however, that comes with the caveat of my being an amateur gamer: I've yet to personally defeat the Ender Dragon without a partner and my KD on Cold War is about 1.6. I'm not that good. Overall, both keyboards are comfortable to use, especially if you're coming from laptop and chiclet style keyboards for the last 10 years. The click on the clicky version is extremely satisfying but also extremely loud. Even the Razer green switches were quieter. The tactile is quiet with good feedback (I personally don't like the lack of click--it's an adjustment :( ) and the better of the two if you don't use macros or need to map key functions very much or very often (I don't).

I honestly don’t know what I was thinking buying this at retail price, but now that I’ve had it for almost a month I have no regrets. I used to have Corsair which Is perfect, but I was tired of seeing cables. This is the only mechanical rgb keyboard I found that offers everything that the Corsair did except it’s wireless. I do wish it has a usb in the back like Corsair but I can see why it’s not added. I use this for work and little gaming so the ten key is also a must. If you have the money I’d say this is a buy! If you don’t have the budget there are other alternatives but maybe not wireless. I don’t care for personalizing the colors so I can’t rate the software, but overall love my new keyboard

The GL Clicky switches are really good. I wasn't sure of them at first, coming from more traditional keyboards (specifically Das Keyboards). It took a little time to get used to the new feel (a couple days?) since it really does not feel like a traditional keyboard, but now I feel like I can type a lot faster, and it feels very fluid. I would say the only con I've found comes from one of its biggest strength: customization. It has a ton of things to customize, which has been great (I'm sure other reviewers go more into detail on this). However, you have to use the G Hub software. Which is great when it works, but it just freezes up half the time for me. My webcam requires it to change settings, so I keep G Hub working (I really miss its old software), but it would really annoy me if it was just to customize the keyboard. Honestly, it would be 5 stars easily if Logitech would give the G Hub software some reliability. And if the software gets any worse, it'll bring my review of any Logitech gaming gear down to 3 stars max.
