It does not have a cord to tangle nor get in the way. The battery last for a very long time which is a benefit. Easy to use - accurate - fits well in my hand.

There is a plug that plugs into your USB drive on either your desktop or laptop. I also like the on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse so you do not waste the battery power. Uses only 1 AA battery (included).

The original mouse worked erratically necessitating use of touch screen which was not always convenient. This is the larger mouse which fits hand well and operates like it should.

My kids use my lap top all over the place and it is nice to have a mouse that they can take anywhere in the house. The metallic blue looks very sharp and the mouse works awesome.
