I purchased this battery for My Canon 5D Mark II. I read the reviews on less expensive competitor brands and decided to stick with the genuine recommended product. I am extremely happy that I did. Although it is a bit pricey (As all Canon products are) it holds a long lasting charge. More importantly, I can rest assured that it wasn't refurbished or manufactured in somebody's garage. If you need a spare battery for your camera, buy Canon. You won't be disappointed.

This is my second LP-E6 and I am very impressed with the storage and longevity of this battery. My first one is still running after tens of thousands of shots over the past 4 years. I bought a second as a backup but have never needed to use it due to the prior running out of juice early in a shoot. I shoot time-lapses frequently and this battery has lasted over 8 hours shooting every half-second.

Needed a backup for long day shooting. Make sure you run a price check against other vendors that BestBuy will price match with. I had it on my phone when I spoke with a sales associate. I bought 2 extra batteries for $80 total when the BestBuy price was $99 each!

Pros: These always work great. They last a long time on a good charge. I own 3 without an issue. Cons: Geez they cost a mint! I've tried the less expensive copies - they all have problems - usually in the charger and sometimes in the camera too when the charge dissipates a lot more quickly than expected.

Exactly what you would expect from a canon product. I've used off brands with mixed results. I've had some that work well for a year or so and I've had other that won't recharge a second time. Since I shoot weddings and sports events I need to have batteries that I can rely on. Canon is it!!!

Great battery compared to cheap imitations that are available...I found a better price on this battery at B&H but Best Buy honors price matching so pay attention to your purchases I spend a fair amount of money with this company so it's good to be alert.

I bought this card so I would have space for more photographs on a trip to Peru. I have been down here for six days shooting large file images and still have almost half the card memory left. Super product.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Works just like the one that came with my camera, as expected since this is an OEM battery. Thanks to price match I was able to get this at a cheaper price.

Battery performs as expected by taking more than 1000 pictures and intermittent video, charges in a reasonable amount of time, and I continue to use my first battery as an alternate.

This is a great battery even though it is a bit expensive. I do recommend using the Canon batteries over the generic ones-they lost a lot longer!

Always have an extra battery in the event you forgot to charge the one in currently in the camera. Expecting the same life from this one as the battery included with the camera. Price however makes the decision to have an extra battery an expensive choice.

Ordered this as an additional back up battery for my camera. Just what I needed and works great.

you need a good backup for your DSLR and this was a great choice and i got it on sale.
