I'd love a version of Office that was simpler to use (& cheaper!). Most people don't need all of the "bells & whistles" that accompany Word & Excel.

There is no point in purchasing this version of Office for your Mac. The Mac comes with a "Mail" program that is similar to Outlook. The cost difference between this and the cheaper Office for Mac is the Outlook Program. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

The Sales Associate at the Best Buy in Thousand Oaks insisted I get this product because I needed access to work email. I told him I got my work email on both my iMac and iPhone...and his response was, "But, the MacBook is a work station. You need this Office Suite." I'm new to Mac, and I did not research his response. So, shame on me as a consumer. I trusted this associate, spent $235, only find out that MacBook can get my work email. I called to complain, and was told by the Dept Mgr that it's an opened software item, and not returnable. Bad experience. Useless product for Mac. Shame on me...and BB Thousand Oaks, Ca.

Nowhere close to real deal. Needs vast improvements. Pretty basic functionality. Workable but with poor efficiency.

Purchased for my new Mac Pro. When I installed it it would not activate given the activation code that have been provided. I spoke to Microsoft on the phone and they informed me that I needed to take it back to Best Buy. I did so and got another software off-the-shelf and again the same situation happened. So I made two trips to Best Buy to purchase the software in the end I ended up returning it and getting it off the Microsoft website.

I have to use office for my business everyday and it fits perfect for my needs.

I was pleased that I could move from PC to Mac and not give up the Office Suite I have always used for a lot of my business needs. My files all work fine. However, I find that there are a lot of changes and additions to Word and Excel moving up to 2011. I will need to spend some extra time becoming more familiar with the new features.

I purchased the office package for Apple because I've always used Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and thought I really needed to have Outlook so I could export all of my client info from windows to MacBook, but now I have to learn the new version of Outlook, which is quite a bit different from 2007 version. I would only recommend this with the caveat that more research is conducted about the Macbook default mail program.

I use Outlook at work and I needed it at home. I have a Mac, and this works fine.
