The best battery on a laptop i have ever seen. The performance is good. The best Microsoft has done in hardware business.

The Surface Book 2 has really stood the test of time for what I needed when I purchased it. I use it daily both as a laptop and as a tablet. I enjoy and take full advantage of the 2-in-1 aspect given I use it for admin work, controlling media equipment, and gaming. As my media work has shifted to more editing, I find that I now need an upgrade and I will definitely be looking at the next Surface Book to fulfill this role.

The s surface book 2 is a great laptop. I like the hinge setup and the way it connects though it does have a tiny bit of wiggle that is nothing to be concerned about. It works well with the surface pen. It has good resolution. Plenty of speed. I like the way you can invert the screen. So far it is very good.

Works well, but occasionally drops connection with keyboard. Have done everything I could find to fix this, but no luck. It always reconnects after a minute or so, so it’s just annoying. Pretty sure this is a software issue. I have updated everything possible and still have this issue. The laptop itself is nice, albeit a little overpriced. I’d probably just buy a non-Surface laptop if I had to do it all over again.

I use this mostly for art. It has great color and sensitivity. Light weight. Easy to use. Would recommend this.

Though the product comes from a brand and looks are quite elegant, I expected too much on all fronts - Colors, Performance and other aspects. Settings: It will take me a lot of time to appropriately set it up for my design purpose. Pressure points currently are not working on Photoshop, and I am seeking help from a technician. So, not at all a buy and use stuff. Color: Colors are good, but not natural Performance: Good, but struggled in Photoshop Price: Ok

Its light, its fast, and it comes apart. The Surface Book 2 does everything a student needs in reliable laptop.

I was researching different Surface styles and settled on this one. Pros, very light, very easy to detach and use as a tablet, and has great computing power. I also chose this one as I could sit on the couch and rest it on my lap without worrying about it flopping over. The only con I have is that the power consumption doesn't come close to what was stated. Probably about 60% of what it said. All in all, very happy with it.

I basically use the book or seeing patients in clinic, I I have also installed Dragon software on it and it is easy to use. So far the tablet is running well have not noticed any major hangups but with running the medical software's. It is very functional and detachable model also.

A great product from Microsoft, I always prefer Microsoft instead of Apple due to its compatibility. Speed and size of this book is a really cute thing. I never felt using that traditional laptop with a heavyweight. Currently installed two software, runs really smooth and fast.

This surface is everything I needed in a laptop. It's lightweight for traveling, powerful for my use, at least 4-hrs of use once fully charged. Easily turns into a tablet whenever I want to just read or use without a keyboard. Integrated wi-fi, camera and bluetooth are great.

The surface book proves itself to be a handy supply for the school year, with it’s flexibility as a laptop AND a tablet. It’s lightweight and easy to use, perfect for busy students who enjoy doing school work and notes online. Definitely recommend buying for the school year!

I bought this product for the size of the screen and its ability to go from what feels like a laptop to a tablet. The keyboard is amazing. I have stayed away from none desktop computers in the past strictly because of the fact I didn't like how it felt to type on them.

Love the ability to detach keyboard and have a tablet. I use it for work and have a couple of USB devices attached, Battery lasts quite a while. Been using XP and Win 7 (legacy software) and this was my 1st Win 10. Not hard to get used to especially if using touch screen.

I love that this is a lightweight laptop with a solid feeling keyboard. This machine runs perfectly even with multiple applications open including PhotoShop. I haven't used it as a tablet a lot because I have an iPad but I know i probably will in the future.

All I would say is if I had to do it again I would get the slightly upgraded one (which I already own) I bought the new one so I could be on the go and still leave the one I am currently typing on at home. I used to take it with me everywhere, but I am so lazy I didn't like plugging it back in. The one I am typing on 5 stars. The other one is a little slower, so it gets 4 stars. But it was cheaper.

Great, light weight, excellent for college students! Fits perfect in back pack, and the removable touchscreen from the keyboard base is a very nice touch ;). The pen is a separate purchase which is a bummer, but well worth the buy for this computer.

I went from a Surface Book Pro (which I loved) to this. I am so happy with the purchase. Microsoft is really doing a great job. Speed is great, and get's everything done I need, including web design and some pretty decent Photoshop work.

My wife was looking for a new laptop to use at home and at school. The sales staff recommended this product. It is easy to use and transport and we love the pen.
