Unlike many other Windows laptop manufacturers, give you a laptop with software which cannot be trusted, MS gives you a really lightweight laptop which is high quality, touch screen, high resolution and long lasting battery.

Really Great Laptop especially for school

It has a great battery life and is able to run many high-processing programs I need, such as SPSS, design, and other statistical programs. The only con is that you must purchase additional cords in order to project to other monitors. I bought this on sale, so the value of this purchase was fine for me, I don't know if I would buy this again without a discount.

Smooth Laptop

Decided to go with the i5 8gb 128gb and can't believe how well it performs. Still runs smooth with over 15 browsing tabs open, while a youtube video is playing on the second screen using the docking station. Very comfortable for the palms and the screen looks so crisp. Very happy with this purchase.

Sleek, compact and fast

My daughter has a Microsoft Surface 2 in 1 and loves it. Her computer performance led me to the Microsoft brand computers. I did not want the 2 in 1 but did want the touch screen capability and a sleeker laptop. So far the performance has been fast and reliable, and the smaller laptop is easier to store and carry around.

My only draw back is the cloth material on the keyboard area, of which that can be easily remedied by getting a cover for it on amazon.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: -Fast -Lightweight -Touch screen (more useful than I thought it would be) without being a 2-in-1 (something I dislike) -Base material is actually really cool and softer on wrists/palms Cons: Only thing I've noticed is I don't like the way the track pad feels but that is a very personal preference, I recommend trying it out for yourself in store I had gone through three macbooks in my life and actually bought my fourth before speaking with some friends and returning it. I went in to Best Buy to look at Chromebooks and ended up speaking with a sales associate who made this rec after listening to my needs. I mainly use the internet but still need Windows suite sometimes and I occasionally like to edit photos and videos where I prefer to use a program instead of just an app. This laptop was a great alternative to the mac. In store I was able to purchase an "open box" version that was basically new and got a great discount!
