Had been on the fence whether or not switch from a full sized laptop to a lighter device. And so far, it appears I made a good choice. It's fast, light and a lot more portable. Wish that it'd have more ports or different charging method, but the Surface Pro is a very handy tool regardless.

This is a good 2 in one for light use. It does get hot.

I promised my son that when he started High School I would get him a laptop for schoolwork. I got a great deal on this surface pro. It has proven to be exactly what he needed for studies, talking with friends etc. Worth every penny I spent on it.

It was required by my school to have a flat device to work on classes. I had a long list of devices that met those requirements. After I decided to visit the store and precisely look into them. I chose Surface Pro without any doubt.

The reason I decided on this "computer" type is because I need to stay mobile constantly, and this definitely works well for my needs! I am very happy with the processing speed and it appears to be quite durable as I am not particularly gentle with my belongings, expensive on not. I got the pen that syncronizes with it and I am very pleased with the way that it works. I will say that this tablet computer is not meant to be used for gaming, and don't believe the salesperson when he tells you that "you can simply plug in an external graphics unit if you want to play games," because that is a load of bologne. The only ports are Thunderbolt 2, USB-A 3.0, Power Chord, and MicroSD, whereas all of the modern models of eGPU I found were Thunderbolt 3. With that said, games will run on the unit, but it will get quite hot even when running more simple games with the graphics settings turned all the way down. However, this is not advertised as a gaming machine so it doesn't do a bad job considering that. All in all I think that for someone who wants a mobile, super-tablet this is a fantastic choice. I have been pleased.

It has allowed for my son to be able to do his schoolwork well in class as well as at home. Since class work is now required for online access, it was more than enough for what his school required.

I bought the MS Surface for my daughter to use at school. So far it has worked marvelously. No problems. I did buy a hard protective case from Urban Armor Gear to protect it. We've owned the device now for about 30 days.

I decided to get this, after looking at art tablets, which also ran the same exact price as this piece. For the same cost I got an amazing portable work station that does everything I need it to do and then some

I bought this laptop for the size and weight and also added a screen cover and case. With everything, the total weight was still much less than expected. You can add a sd card if you need additional storage.

Very happy with the tech, but did not realize that it did not come with keyboard as it is so often advertised. In addition it was displayed in store with a key board. Pen also sold separately. Each raises the price another $100.

I've had this 2 years now. Still running great. Love the portability and versatility especially when you can pair it with the surface dock 2 for a desktop experience.

Have had macbooks for my last 2 computers but my kids have forced me to find out that they are not spill proof for liquids.... so going with a cheaper alternative, i really like the surface pro Alot!

Dropped my first Surface and screen cracked. Had dropped it before, but this time it didn't survive. After 3 years of loving my 1st one, I bought another one. One of the best purchases I ever made.

I owned it for 2 days before returning it. It was a great computer and there were no issues. However I have been a Mac user for 8 years and this was not convenient for me to relearn a different OS. I thought I would try and make it work but ended up getting another MacBook.

This model is a great balance of hardware for the price. I've been amazed at how long it will last. It goes a few long days with daily college school work, etc. before being plugged in.

It was amazing simple to just get up and running. In the past it took me awhile to transfer my data and get up and start work immediately but that is exactly what happened this time.

Couldn’t really get the full use out of this amazing thing without the accessories. Now that I have the keypad I use this thing for everything. Light weight, dependable.

I needed a small netbook for when I was traveling. I tried a small laptop but returned it. I picked up the surface tab and so far it is working great and meeting all my needs.
