    Much faster than the last generation of Surface Pro but boy does this thing get HOT! Windows 11 still needs some bugs ironed out but I’m sure that will happen over the coming months.

    Very fast loading, Windows 11 is very seamless. I love that it has 2 USB-C ports on it. Adding a USB-C hub gives you several USB-A ports along with a card reader which unfortunately this one does not have as in previous versions. The card reader takes an sd card so you can use an adaptor for micro sd cards. The hub also comes with an HDMI port. Both together makes an unstoppable combination.

    Over the years I have owned several SPs and enjoy the power in such a small device. I waited until I the 9s came out to purchase an SP 8 at a discounted price and feel I got a great deal. Very solid device! Only minus is battery life when crunching data. Would definitely purchase again…

    This is my third, I skipped the 7th gen, and this one was worth it for the larger screen in the same footprint, the USBC ports, the ability to connect with another touch screen, and the ability to upgrade the hard drive. Downsides are the lack of an SD slot and the inability to upgrade ram. Also, it isnt clear why the form factor for the hard drive isnt a more common one, but at least the drives are available and easy to swap out, if that's an interest.
