This is my third braided cable, not because the others broke. I had one in my home office and one for my girlfriend, needing another for my work office. I’ve used the Apple lightning product and after my third in less than a year, I switched to braided and haven’t had to replace any of them since. It’s been well over a year, used daily. It’s reliable and last significantly longer than the Apple product at a fraction of the cost. Would recommend this everyone!

I am glad I bought this cable. It works each time I use it to charge my older model iPad. It’s rather thick and stiff, and so may take a little more space than softer cables when traveling with it. But I think that also makes it more reliable. My other, cheaper and softer cable did not always work, which made me think the iPad was at fault. Now I am glad I spent $28 on this new cable, instead of buying a new iPad for $300.

I have so many broken lightning cables it’s a tragedy. I was getting desperate to have a cable that lasted more than a few months. Going in on one of Best Buy’s promo certificate hooks, I ran into this trying to find something to spend my 5 dollar certificate on, I said, ‘What the heck?’ Love the braided cable. My last cable literally had duct tapes At the stress point because the prior one broke without really breaking.

I bought this cable to replace a Apple lightning cable that is starting to fray. This cable seems very sturdy compared to the Apple lighting cable. Charges quickly. The only thing I have noticed is my phone gets s little warm after charging it using this cable and a dual usb car charger. It could just be the new case I got. Not really sure. It’s a good cable though and I don’t regret buying it. I don’t think you will either!

Eventually stopped working but it worked for a couple of months, which is more than I can say for an Apple branded charger. It did not fray, it just stopped working because it was "unrecognized" all of a sudden. The reason I'm not giving it less stars is because it was still in tact and Apple is more than likely behind why it stopped working because they're aholes and don't want to produce a better charger but they don't want you to use a different charger because you just might notice that Apple chargers are trash.

My family used to buy "cheaper" charging cables. But after replacing every several weeks... I decided to go for one a tad more expensive. I bought my first Modal charging cable over a year ago and still use it without ANY defects or wear and tear. I now have two more and they all have been extremely reliable. HIGHLY recommend. It helps that they come in cool colors as well. Each family member can identify their own.

My stepson's extended family always seems to absorb his phone cords. I wanted to get him one that would be distinct enough to never be confused with someone else's cord, but I also wanted one that I felt would last. (Those bright ones for $5 seem to fall apart after a few uses.) I settled on this. It's got some color, so it's easily recognizable. And it's long, so that my stepson doesn't have to squat on the floor while his phone charges.

After my third Apple charging cable snapped and stopped working even with careful, gentle use, I'd had it with their increasingly expensive and yet cheaply made products. I went into Best Buy and found this charging cable and I love it. It's MUCH sturdier than the Apple charging cable and charges my phones faster. I would definitely recommend this charging cable to people who are sick of Apple's lousy, designed-to-fail products.

Though this is not an original Apple cable, it is Apple certified. The construction is stronger than the Apple and I think it should last longer. I bought it to use with Apple Car play and it works perfectly for connecting my car to my iPhone. Originally I was not happy that I could not get an original cable from Best Buy, but now I am quite happy with the purchase.

I purchased from BB as a backup that I can keep in my vehicle. In a time when some cords can have compatibility errors, this one seems just right for the job. I’ve purchased this type before and have come to know that if no other cord works, at least this one is certain. For those who may not be sure if the cord is the right compliance, it is even packaged so that you can physically inspect the connectors. They seem to trust the public to check out the merchandise, so it seems fair and reasonable to trust that the product delivers. .. and it does.

I swear, these lightning cords suck, for the most part. Typically, the rubberized covering starts to fray or it stops working for no apparent reason - and I am pretty careful with these things. I bought this product with my new iPhone X. I like the length and the fabric covering. For now I am giving it 5 stars in hope that it will live up to the cost for a higher quality product (???), but I will only know with time.

I bought this cable since it is fast and definitely does not look like any of the fast charging cables that come with purchasing an iPhone. Coworkers, friends or family constantly get confused about which one is their charging cable and accidentally take a charger, assuming it’s theirs, since they all look alike, but not like this one. It works great and looks sharp!

Just started using this 10 ft cable to replace the original, Apple brand, cable that came with my iPad Pro about 2 weeks ago. My original cable became worn out pretty fast after some time went by (not even a year went by) and I barely moved the cable from behind my desk. It started at the connector end and, eventually, the guts of the cable became completely exposed and ugly. I’m hoping this new cable with its braided design will last longer without the casing shredding apart. So far, so good. BUT, at least it’s working.

So I walked into a Best Buy to purchase a new iPhone charger, and I was not happy with the price. This charger almost cost $20, and for the price, I hope it works for the next 3 years at least. It seems durable, but what I don't like is how it tangles up and curls on its own. I've literally had it only a week, all I'll post an updated review, good or bad, in the coming months.

Excellent cable! Well made, and the length is great! I can plug it in at home and put my phone on a table as it charges without moving the table closer to the wall and i dont fear someone will trip over the cord since it no longer needs to dangle in the air as it stretches. Also sitting in the backseat of a car when its plugged into the front usb I can still use my phone and not place it in a cup holder because its long enough! Great buy!!!

This seems to be a well made cable. So far so good. The packaging allows a customer to inspect the cable before purchase, if you are buying in store. This was the only product/vendor that allowed that. I had to replace my current cable as the end of prior cable partly melted in car from sun-exposure traveling in the South. Comparing this my prior cable, this one looked to be better made.

All charging cords are not the same! This Modal charger will last for years. The plastic ones break and the wires start showing and become a hazard a short time after they are purchased. These are quality made, come in different colors, and Modal even makes charging cords that light up while they are charging. Only buy Modal - only accept the best!

Was looking for a long cord because the outlet was too far for the stock Apple cable to reach my bed, only long enough to charge the phone sitting in my nightstand. This had plenty of length to be able to use my iPhone while lying down. Love the braided line which looks great and adds some robustness to the product. I’m not afraid of the end where it meets the plug in to deteriorate over time and crack like the stock wires.

This cord is great. I purchase it for charging in the kitchen, on our island. My favorite thing is it is bendable so it can be put away by being rolled up when not in use. It stayed in a nice bended coil till I am ready to pull it out to use. It also is very appealing. The gray color goes with my kitchen and it does not give out a trashy vibe like some other cords do when they are visible.

Let’s face it, all charging cables are way more expensive than they ought to be. At least you get a lot for your money with this cable. Better price than most. It’s great quality in that it always clicks in nicely to my iPhone and iPad charging ports. It’s also stylish with a braided cable that will likely not break like the rubber ones.
