Awesome budget board, I’ve used this in 3 lower cost pc builds now and have 0 complaints over the last 5 years

Board seems to be working fine so far. Lots of space. I am a little bummed that there were no paper manuals in the box since everything was online. That would suck if you didn't have your phone or other computer. I also wished it had a pin extender in the box like other companies. That would help with getting the power pin/reset etc put in the right spots since the writing is so tiny on the board.

Paired this mobo with a Ryzen 5600x and it posted immediately on start up with no necessary BIOS adjustments. It should say clearly on the box that it is 5000 series ready. Has some bells and whistles but all the necessary features I was looking for in a board as well.

Beautiful motherboard design with tasteful RGBs! Able to overclock the Ryzen 3600 to 4.3ghz with no problems on the stock fan with cool temps. Easy to flash and update bios and simple menu for overclocking parameters with plenty of how to videos on YouTube. Will purchase MSI again no doubt!

It's hard to find newer mobos that support pcie 4.0 GPUs and CPUs, especially for AMD AM4 sockets. Even though it's form factor is an ATX I was able to fit it into mid sized corsair tower case that was meant for MATX form factors. Unlike almost all boards there is sufficient room on the board to fit 2 full sized cards with a bit of room in-between, so overheating your computer/MB won't really happen. I also like there are 2 M.2 SSD sockets, one for the newest gen M.2 drives and one for current/prior gen M.2 drives. The RGB LED lights that illuminate the mobo are a nice touch. I've been running a Ryzen 3900, w/ a liquid cooler radiator and 2 MSI 5700xt Mech's, A 500 GB WD Black M.2 Ssd and 2x16 GB of 3200mhz Corsair LED DDR4 RAM. I haven't had a problem once, and the bios is super easy to understand/modify/update to your given preferences... currently using the Mobo to mine Ethereum and Monero, but as soon as I can get an htc vive or some other VR device I will be using this build and mobo strictly for VR

Bought this for a DIY PC build and the machine works well so I must assume there's nothing wrong with it. Durability is good and hoping to get longevity out of it. Compatibility with 5th gen Ryzen as well as 3rd along with ability to upgrade RAM to 128GB are pluses.

Works great no issues at all with the suggested items I bought with it. Only spent about $400 to build a pc minus the gpu and enjoying every minute of it

Great product, bios is very user friendly and makes this a breeze to use. If you dislike other bios (gigabyte) because of its difficulty to manage and flash, msi is definitely the way to go. Makes managing ram, cpu, and all other aspects of the PC a breeze.

This is the first MSI mobo I have purchased. Has 2 M.2 and 6 sata slots. Very good performance, easily updated from Asus. I am very satisfied with this mobo. Can run Win 11.

Great motherboard, looks good and no issues after years.

First DIY computer upgrade was this motherboard and a Ryzen 5600X CPU. I'm very happy with both and feel that they are a great value/combo for the money. This MB has various RBG options including a dynamic CPU temp light which is really helpful.

The MSI B550 Gaming Plus is an excellent choice for a mid to high tier enthusiast grade motherboard. I've done a modest OC on my Ryzen 5 5600x (which is supported out of the box) and OC my RTX 2070 and I've had no issues before or after the OC's. I also utilize all the features of this motherboard such as all of the PCI Express for add on WIFI and NVMe ports for additional storage. The BIOS has support for XMP profiles which I utilize as well. The on board audio is also good. All around solid choice for anyone looking for a board to cover all the bases!

I got my board and it says it was new, but Im not sure I Recall pulling tape off the anti-static bag when opening the board to inspect it, but board works fine, have tested it, and when I installed Windows 10, it automatically activated from February 2022, I got the board in December 2022. I ran testing on the board and I see no driver issues, installed both M.2 slots and no compatibilty issues I can see. Played COD Mw2 DMZ for hours no crashing. Paired with a Ryzen 5 3600, 16gb corsair 3200mhz ram and a RX6600 and system ran fine. So I guess the windows activation was just a bonus in this use case.

Great motherboard for the price. Only thing i would want would be wifi. But the board works great with a 3090 and 5800x. No issues.

Easy to setup and alot better then the b450 i was using

I have so many motherboards I had to think for a moment where this one ended up. It is in my NAS file server. I have Plex and LLM running on it. Yes, it is an AI server.

Product works as it should right out of the box. Just install the software and youre ready to go. For the cost I can honestly say i have no regrets and would by this product again. Definitely would recommend for those who are looking to game on a tight budget.

MSI had the best bios of any motherboard in the game. If you are on a tight budget you can not go wrong with this board. It performs as good if not better than the so called high end B550 boards and even some X570.
