Wish i had more technical literacy while reviewing this, had no problems with installation, getting to bios for setup was a breeze, there were some issues getting pc to post but that was due to operator error, overall a very solid choice!

The MSI B550 Gaming Plus motherboard is a good value for a budget build. The only major problem I faced is my first motherboard I purchased was faulty. It would not turn on with the CPU installed due to a faulty CPU socket and had to exchange it. Other than that, its easy to install to the case with the attached I/O shield. Setting up XMP was easy with just a few clicks in the UEFI.

Walked in and seen this in stock and had to pick it up!! Installed new motherboard and seen instant results! Thanks best buy.

Upgraded for the b450 and this one put it to shame enjoyed using this in my build

A very nice looking Motherboard with a changing RGB colors. The I/O shield is also very nice. It has more than enough USB ports for a keyboard, mouse, and headset. DOES NOT HAVE BUILT IN WIFI, so make sure to get an ethernet cable or a WIFI adapter.

Motherboard worked great for my system. Previously had a micro-ITX build with an MSI B450 Gaming Plus AC paired with a Ryzen 5 2700x, but the motherboard shorted out due to thermal dissipation issues. Obviously the CPU is outdated and not technically supported with the B550. However, after reading up on the board, it has no issues with the 2700x. After building my system with the new board everything worked perfectly. Very happy with this board so far and my system temps are loving the ATX build over the micro-itx

Worked amazingly, fried it but I think it was my fault, destroyed cpu, again, probably something I did. Worked great for the year I had it. Buy the warranty, it’s worth it kids.

Awesome board. Attached heat shield makes u stall easier. RGB fully supported. Plenty of memory expansion. Good overclock features. Usb-c header is a good addition. Flash BIOS a must for newer processors if you don’t have an older processor to use. Two m2 slots are also great for gaming. If you want AM4/DDR4 board this is cost effective. Good looking board. Speeds are great although I have not tried faster m2 slot yet.

It came with the bios update for the 5000 series. Bios is well laid out and easy to navigate. I would just like to see a auto OC feature like the EVGA bios has. This has PBO, but doesn't push it far beyond stock boost levels.

Motherboard came in clutch. It has everything I need M.2 slots, let's me know if there are any issues. There have been moments where it won't turn on but that's typically a new GPU or an issue with the Ram being misaligned. I love this product and look forward to using this brand in the future.

For the money, it definitely shines brightly!! Way better than the previous MSI boards. This B550 has many more options like USB-C Front panel connection than some X570 boards. Only lacking in PCI-E 4 when it comes to adding more storage or video cards.

Good power and potential in this mother board has some nice lighting a lot of different ports. Nvme usb c usb 3. High quality built iN IO shield. My model doesn’t have built in Bluetooth so that’s a drawback

It is very easy to intall it only took about 10 minutes to fully intall the motherboard and everything else.

Great motherboard, though it (as advertised) doesn’t include WiFi or Bluetooth

Great for the price, only grievance is regarding the lack of Wi-fi. To be fair it is quite cheap so I wouldn't really expect it anyways! On top of that, it came with an in-depth manual that is quite easy to follow. Great Buy!

For the price it’s absolutely fantastic. Everything you need for bare minimum, plus some. The look is also a big factor in how great this board is, the black matte is very pretty. Board functions like it should and the bios is quite simple.

Great motherboard for the price if you’re looking for a new motherboard on a budget I’d recommend this one
