Excellent motherboard for the price, lots of usb headers. An overall good looking board, I had possible power issues while using a usb WiFi adapter, all usb devices would disconnect briefly, don’t know if it was the mobo, changed to a pcie WiFi card and that fixed it

The B550 gaming plus is a great mother board but during my installation I couldn’t get a post due to the Ram hz being too high I had to enable xmp with one ram and then get a post with one and the install my second one to get the full 3600hz. But one I got everything going the mother board worked great with my msi case. Not a fan of the dragon app to handle my rgb but I’m satisfied everything works

Good budget board, easy to instal and recognized my SSD without any issues, the only thing a little wonky is the “RGB” is going to be blocked by Your graphics card so it’s really not needed.

Motherboard worked great with support for new 5 series from AMD. I bought some good ram and the options for ram speed and memory clock are great. Right now DDR4000 and 2000 infinity clock with a 5600x no issues. This system boots into windows 9 secs flat...clean bois.

Was going to replace my existing asus motherboard with this one. Got it home was getting ready to pull it out of the box and something just looked off with it. The board thickness just looked skinny. So i looked up the pcb specs and found its only half the thickness of my asus and most all motherboards.You ask well is it a big deal and yes it is. The thinner the pcb the more cross talk you can get with electrical stuff so like you could get a buzzing sound in you sound while using to play a game and also the board is not as sturdy because its not as thick so the board can bend with heavier video cards so yes you want to steer clear of this board if you ask me. MSI has some of the best motherboards out there so spend a few more bucks and get a better one. Also found out this little issue with the 550 boards Motherboards based on AMD B550 chipsets are only compatible with AMD Ryzen 3000 series processors So i could not use this board because i had a ryzen 5 one of the first series cpu's

Great board overall. Best quality I’ve ever owned, usually bought entry level before. Didn’t give it 5 stars because I can’t get it to recognize my 2nd nvme drive. Doesn’t show up in bios or windows. Trying to get ahold of support to troubleshoot, hopefully I don’t need to take my system apart to RMA.

Absolutely fantastic starter motherboard. Connectivity options are superb at this price point. Only reason I returned this item is because I upgraded to a higher spec chipset. Connectivity options are superb at this price point. Only reason for my return is that I needed more USB connectivity so I needed to upgrade to the higher spec chipset from AMD.

I built my first PC with this motherboard and it has never failed me. I love it so much and the quality is incredible. Great motherboard through and through!!

I had bought this MOBO to go with my new 5600x cpu, basically was looking for something with features that would best help me get where I need to with the cpu. This board has been great an have had no issues whats so ever with it. Plus it has 4th gen m.2 an pci e.

You can’t find a cheaper new b550 so why not buy it. It’s basically a x470 with pcie 4.0 for the gpu and ssd. The only bad part about it is the cpu is only pcie 3.0. Still 5 stars

Decent motherboard with great overclocking potential. RGB isn't bright but they doesn't affect function so it gets 5 stars anyway.

Use it in my daughter's gaming computer works like a charm. The only thing it doesn't have is wifi, but who needs to spend extra money for a gaming motherboard to have that option.

Bought it because my other lotherboard had an issue and stopped working. Just plugged everything in and worked immediately. No issues as of now.

Awesome board! Easy install and the manual is well layed out. No wifi which is unfortunate but i knew this going in the inly reason it looses a star for me is purely based off the MSI pricing for a board that is a b550 class at best.

Great price and really is a hard one to find will choose over anytime.

Have had 0 issues using this with my 5000 series card. Initially thought I had a bios issue but it seemed to be a issue with me improperly seating the CPU. Very quick boot times.
