This motherboard is not compatible with mATX chassis. Its too tall and the power supply won’t fit. Geek squad unfortunately told me to get this one and I aksed if it was the correct one becauae I wasn’t building it right away it was a gift. Turned out it was the wrong one and since 2 months have passed I lost 200 dollars no exchanges even though they are the ones who told me to buy it and ordered it for me. Really dissapointed will not shop here again will be closing my account. Very unhappy with eating 200 dollars and stuck witj a brand new useless motherboard.

I have no complaints - the item works as intended and is a lot better than the junk that I had. Greatly improved start up times. The size was much bigger than I expected and as a result, I had to go buy a new case but that’s what I get for not looking at dimensions and how those dimensions would effect existing space :)

Not sure why I went with MSI but it's working. Dragon center (which includes Mystic Light) software blows goats tho. I tried MSI center but mystic light doesn't even open on it.

This review is more about Best Buy than the actual item. Can't really review it since I got a bad one. Got this motherboard since there were a lot of good reviews online for this particular model. I got this shipped to the house and the first thing that I noticed was that it wasn't sealed. Started setting it up and realized that something was wrong with it. Wouldn't post after trying two known serviceable CPUs. Only time it would show some kind of activity was when the only thing plugged in was the memory. I believe this was a return because something was wrong with it but Best Buy just sold it again.

Does not detect any drive internal nor external, none of my 8 hdd or ssd of various brands would be detected. None of my 10+ external usbs would be detected even for qflash. Was given a 30 day return timeframe. It is two days prior to that being up and I am unable to exchange this crappy board that I spent $170 on.

Improvement from the MSI B550-A Pro. Solid board. Competes with low end X570 boards. Good power stage delivery, good capacitors and mosfets. Just watch youtube videos for specs and reviews

Pretty rock solid board. No frills and does everything you will need for gaming. I do not need all that fancy RGB lights or covers. I just need it to work and game.

MSI was a brand I looked kindly on before I bought this steaming pile of trash. I refuse to even consider purchasing another MSI product after my experience with this awful board and even worse customer service. The board worked flawlessly for about a day and then refused to boot properly and got stuck in a self repair loop. I wiped the SSD and then the computer refused to accept windows. I shipped it to MSI and 3 months later they shipped me a ‘new’ board in the worst packaging I have ever seen. After that I quickly got everything set up how it was before and it booted to my desktop and I was exited. THEN the monitor begins to constantly flicker in and out like a graphics driver is being updated/installed. When the screen isn’t locking up it’s hard crashing and going into a self repair state. This is the worst experience I have EVER had with any PC parts. I wouldn’t recommend this to people I hate, let alone friends.
