Not a frequent best buy’er—but WORTH it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t use this often, but the times I have? really actually saved me more than like $200 every major purchase. Instead of paying like almost $600 for a Dyson? The membership actually saved me about half so I practically got it for 50% off and I LOVE a deal. Anyway it’s a little pricey but worth it in my opinion.

Worst customer service in the corporate..

But I had really the worst experience. Last July 6th I spent around $4800 something a Tv , sound bar and few other things order # 1125187262127 And it was scheduled for delivery July 29th .. and July 8th I saw the TV price went down $300 .. when I bought the TV was $3300 .. then call BeatBye customer service and ask for price match then the agent say okay we can do that but for now the order is pending once the order is delivered give us a will do the price match and also he give me a Case # 359765158. Then I said okay. The product delivery date was July 29th and it’s came on time then the next day July 30th I give a call to BestBye for price adjustment then agent say we can’t do that you have to go to the store where you bought it .. then I went to the store after they checking everything from the store says you price match it’s already approved just need to process just give them a call they will do it .. then I left the store and call again the BestBye was on phone for an hour the lady same think she I we can’t do that you will have to go to the store .. then again July 31st I went to the store again talk to them .. they told me it’s already there why they don’t process that .. call them again and talk to the customer service manager .. then I called again also spoke to the supervisor but she told me we can’t give the $300 price match .. so my question is way I got miss guided from the beginning.. I could have go next day and cancel my order and re order again and get my price match .. I still can return all the stuff I bought eventually BestBye will lose $$$ because everything is open box now .. my only concern is customer like me spent thousands of $$$ to give you business but if you guys harassing them like that .. then slowly you will loosing business. I will still request if possible please bring the issue to higher level I already share the order number also the case number.. I also have the picture for July 8th but definitely find out if you check the TV price on July 8th ..

Best Buy Plus Annual Membership
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased in-store a set of Bose - QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones. When checking out the cashier told me that instead of purchasing the Bose 2-year extended warranty plan I should get the My Best Buy Plus Annual membership instead, as it would be less expensive AND also cover defects and replacement parts. Having been to the store last Sunday for additional purchases, including picking-up another set of online purchased apple AirpodMax headphones, the associate then told me that the Best Buy Plus membership does not cover any warranty work, nor repairs at all – but provides an extended return period for purchases made (which may come in handy for gifting during the holiday season). Purchasing the respective Bose as well as apple 2-year extended warranty plan then I had no need for the Best Buy Plus Yearly Membership plan at all. Calling Best Buy Plus membership department did not result in being able to cancel due to apparent misfunction in their system with the “press button” feature on ones mobile phone. Contacting Best Buy through the established account with the Chat function is arduous at best, with waiting times upfront and inbetween to get the request completed. The first representative could not even find my Best Buy Plus membership plan, nor did she advise that my chat would be transferred to a different department leaving me in a waiting loop for 14 minutes, which looked as if the chat got hung up (the second representative was able to cancel the membership successfully). As much as I truly enjoy visiting the Best Buy “candy store” – they have a ways to go to have their staff properly trained at all levels, and in all departments. Once the customer feels tricked into purchasing something he does not need, and then have to go through time and nerve consuming return & refund process, the enjoyment disappears and makes room for frustration and aggrevation. Make it easy for the customer: purchasing, returns, warranty claims & repairs, and business should deservedly flourish. No, I do not recommend this product.

Don't shop enough to get enough use of it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I feel like its a waste of money for me if you don't shop frequently to get the free shipping the extended return window isn't really needed you should know by the 30 days if it doesn't work or not or if you don't like it. Maybe the total is worth it but it's almost triple the cost

It really pays for itself! You get discounted prices and from time to time I have received best buy gift cards , just saying thank you for being a member! Its awesome, I highly recommend!

Best Buy is on LIFE SUPPORT and DYING!!!

I ordered a Bosch Range (fairly high end). It took two tries for get delivery (and one trip to the store because there are no real representatives to speak to...you are routed to a call center in God knows where. They plunked it down in my living room on the second delivery date and were unable to install and then remove the old unit. The third trip resulted in the "two stooges" returning to tell me that Best Buy "Professional" installers were needed to do the electrical hookup (and I'm willing to bet they were not licensed union electricians). This was the primary reason I visited the store after the second trip to my home...to get this set up which they failed to do. Now a fourth trip will result in the cancelled order and the unit being returned because Best Buy uses Third Party Contractors. I ended up with yet another trip to the store. We'll see if the unit gets picked up and I get credit. I ordered an upgraded unit from a local supplier in St. Louis (Slyman Brothers Appliance) and they are performing admirably.

Great Discounts

You will get your money's worth plus some. I like the member only specials and clearance items that are for members only. I have saved a lot over the past year, I will be renewing for sure.
