The Best Buy plus membership is something I definitely recommend! The peace of mind if gives you including the incentives you have for products in this store is phenomenal l! I also love the feeling of employees at Best Buy saying oh your a plus members! Thank you for being a part of our team! It feels good!
For my use case I was really trying to get my hands on a device that was sold out for months and being a plus member gave the an edge on early stockings.
I recommend this product to everyone! For the price of the membership it pays for its self!

A Total Screw Up

I purchased my Plus membership a couple days prior to making a major appliance purchase at the suggestion of the representative that helped me later make my purchase.
Of the washer and dryer combo set, the washer was defective, despite running it through the Quick Cycle by the Geek Squad installation crew. Called to arrange a replacement and was told that my purchase was not made as a Plus Member. The computer had a bogus account w an email that I never had. Tried to straighten the issue out w the representative who became belligerent and rude informing me I was “NOT A PLUS MEMBER”! I wasted over an hour and half waiting for that representative to finally take my call and then get into an argument over my membership. I was verbally providing from the email I received from best buy confirming my membership! It took 3 days w two more calls to Best Buy, to finally get this mess straightened out!!! Very Angry and annoyed that it took several hours on the phone w Best Buy. In the end, everything turned out okay and the defective washer was replaced. Plus Membership is probably worth the cost but there was absolutely no excuse for Best Buy to have such a major account computer screw up since I’ve had my account for over 15 years! My time is money and I deserve compensation for this inexcusable situation!

It is ok, but staff is not well informed about it, just to sell it they provide some information.
We got a ‘welcome gift’ with plus membership related to a canvas bag printed by Shutterfly, I was very exited to get it, it was impossible , never got the email with code, after several attempts following instructions. So, we went ahead to store at the Fountains -like it says to do so- and asked for help… NON of staff members new anything about membership plus at all, easily they wrote me a phone number to deal with, I though ‘NO Thank You, I will rather buy a canvas bag on my own without this hassle, so I dropped the idea of the free canvas bag, it was disappointing, I think there’s nothing good to offer something to others and not honor the word. Better not to offer anything. I just hope we don’t get to need one of the ‘help’ payed in the membership for something really important.

Love my GE Refrigerator-Great Customer Service

I was pleased with my purchase. James and Mickey, who delivered my refrigerator, were so helpful and thorough. They were early and called to let me know they were on their way.
They also made sure that the refrigerator did not get scratched. James informed me how long it would take to get cold.
I am very pleased that these two guys helped me. I have had other experiences where the delivery people did not know how to put my items together, and there was a language barrier that prevented me from explaining what was wrong.

I had this membership for a year and bought many things with it, but most of the sales were not exclusive to the membership and I did not save that much money because of it. I was able to price adjust and return items within an extended period of 60 days which did help, but this period should be extended to 6 months with the membership. I did get $10 credit once every two months to spend with the membership. One instance I did not like was when Best Buy sales representatives were lying to customers, claiming that if they purchased or already had the Best Buy plus membership, they would get early access to pre order nvidia 50 series graphics cards. This did not happen and many people were upset with this and refunded their memberships.

The salesman encouraged me to purchase this membership just in case they put their remaining iMacs on sale after I walked out. Unfortunately that didn't happen. But as it turned out, I had to return two of the accessories I had also purchased and received back every cent I had spent. (I didn't need the new Magic Mouse, there was one already in the box.) Perhaps the easy refund would have happened anyway, dunno.

If you buy lots of stuff from best buy I will highly recommend you get plus member. It offers you significant discounts on lots products along with special holidays discount for instant it was black Friday deal was going on and I had plus member and I was looking for vacuum and carpet shampooer they marked their price down for black Friday and also there was another price written red says plus or total members discount. So I learned they give more discounts if you are plus or total member with bestbuy

I joined because this replaced the old Best Buy Rewards program, which I had been a member of since its beginning.
Unfortunately some marketing "genius" up the corporate ladder decided to discontinue the primary merchandise I had been purchasing from Best Buy for decades.
I have been an avid collector of physical media (CD, DVD, BD, 4K, etc) since the formats first launched and Best Buy has always been my dependable primary source. But now they have short-dightedly chosen to discontinue selling physical media.
Recent trends are showing a rising backlash by audiophile and videophile against digital downloads and streaming services upon discovering that providers are arbitrarily deleting content due to data storage limitations. Even deleting legitimately licensed and purchased downloads without compensation or recourse to the buyer. This is accompanied by rising embrace of physical formats which can't be deleted by faceless 3rd parties.
Now is the time for retailers to get ahead of the curve and start aggressively promoting the advantages and availability of physical media over streaming and downloading.
Pending a change in Best Buy's new policy on physical media, I have no further use for My Best Buy and will likely not renew my membership.

When I went to buy my newest Apple Watch in November, I was skeptical at first to purchase this membership. When one of the store representatives told me that Best Buy does a holiday price match where I could call if the price of my product was lower and get the money refunded to me for the difference I was immediately sold. Not only did this product actually deliver as the sales associate said, but it was so easy to do. I was able to text the Best Buy representative and get everything taken care of that way. I even used my Best Buy credit card and was able to get the difference in the prices refunded right to my Best Buy credit card and off the total without affecting the promotional rate definitely worth the purchase for that alone.

so I tried this because I made a purchase of an X5 and some air pods just before Black Friday literally one or two days before I was flying out so I wouldn't have had time to come back during that time to purchase items I wanted luckily this covered me because the items prices dropped significantly like about $100 I'd recommend this product because whether you know it or not paying a subscription in the end usually comes out to be worth it and it's like insurance it gives you peace of mind

I was buying a new PC for my my son. It was $1900 The cashier asked me if I wanted to purchase the membership for 50 bucks which at the time I really didn't want to spend the money but they told me when this PC will go on sale and whatever the sale price is I will get the difference from what I paid and sure enough a week later it went on sale. I got $267 cash back, which was awesome in the long run. This membership is worth it.

Best Buy Plus: Worth it for me this year

I don't like add-ons or extra charges. I also don't like a mere 15-day return policy, especially for items that take time to evaluate. 30-day or even more is best, but I found that this was worth it for me this year. Why? This year purchases included nice bookshelf speakers (I needed more than 15 days to compare them to a different brand I got elsewhere), 3 laptops (if you're busy like me, I need more than 15 days to evaluate). Given pricing and availability, Plus made sense. It's for a year, but you can turn it "on" and "off" (pro rated usage). It was handy for the bookshelf speakers (I actually returned the brand I got at Best Buy, nice to have had more time to return). I turned Plus "off" quickly so it cost me next to nothing. Then my wife and 2 kids off-to-college needed laptops. Best Buy prices were competitive, so I signed back up for Plus, and have kept it for 2-3 months. It saved my bacon once or twice as we worked the gear out. Then I found I needed more kid-college-tech and a couple of backup SSDs for 2 new pc's I built in spring, as well as for a mac: Plus to the rescue once again, gave me the time I needed to make sure the gear worked and was what I needed. So, once a skeptic, now I'm not so grumpy about extra bucks for a longer return period. I can be worthwhile.

I’ve had the Best Buy membership for a while now, and it has honestly paid for itself. The fast free shipping, exclusive deals, and extended return window make shopping so much easier.
