    I’ve had the My Best Buy Plus yearly membership for a while now, and it’s been really worth it for me. The free 2-day shipping with no minimum purchase is a huge time-saver-I get my orders fast without having to worry about extra shipping fees. I also like the exclusive member prices and deals on tons of products; I’ve saved a good bit on tech and accessories that way. Another big plus is the extended 60-day return window on most items, which gives me extra peace of mind if I change my mind or something doesn’t work out. Plus, having early access to sales and special events makes it easier to grab popular items before they sell out. For $49.99 a year, it feels like a solid value if you shop at Best Buy regularly. Just keep in mind the 2-day shipping isn’t available everywhere, but it’s worked well for me. Overall, I’d recommend it if you want faster shipping, better deals, and more flexible returns.

    I was originally skeptical about purchasing the My Best Buy Plus membership. I thought that it was just another money-making venture for Best Buy and had no real value. Boy, was I ever wrong. A couple of weeks after I purchased this membership, I was in the store to buy a new Blu-Ray player. To my surprise, the clerk informed me that the price on a couple of items that I had previously purchased had been reduced and that I now had a refund of the difference available. After calculating the difference my refund came to almost $300.00. Needless to say, that refund more than paid for the cost of the Best Buy Plus membership.

    The young salesman was familiar with iWatches and fully answered all my questions about several versions of the watch. He asked if I was familiar with the Best Buy Plus membership. There is no Best Buy where I live in Fairbanks, Alaska. He took extra time to share the benefits of membership. He clearly said if the price should drop in the future 2-3 months that I would receive a refund coupon of up to $400 from my purchase and so it sounded good to me and I purchased the top of line Apple iWatch and the membership plan.

    I've been really happy with my My Best Buy Plus™ yearly membership and feel it's delivered excellent value. The free shipping on all orders is incredibly convenient for small tech purchases, and the exclusive member pricing has saved me money on several items. Getting early access to major sales helped me snag great Black Friday deals that sold out quickly. The extended return periods and faster customer support are nice bonuses too.     The salespeople, installers and the Geek Squad who installed and set up my new TV and dishwasher were top class. The salespeople, Eric and Michael, were top class. They told us the pros and cons of the products we were looking at and explained everything in detail. They told us what options were available, but there was no pressure to purchase anything. They made great suggestions and demonstrated what the suggestions would do for us. I give Eric and Michael an A+, and I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in purchasing a TV or an appliance. Michael and Eric had very detailed knowledge of the products in their respective areas.

    I bought the memebership shortly before Tax Free Weekend in MA (2025). The computer tower that I bought has gone on sale since then. I was reimbursed $50 via the Price Match Guarantee so the membership has paid for itself. I received two $25 gift certificates a few weeks after the purchase based upon the purchase price ($25 for every $250 spent). Unfortunately, the gift certificates expire after one month. I don't really need anything from Best Buy, but I'm forced to make a purchase or they go to waste. The membership is probably worth it if you make frequent purchases. If you only shop there a few times a year the membership is probably not for you.

    had a great experience at the Best Buy store. The team was extremely polite, helpful, and took the time to clearly explain everything I needed to know. They even assisted me in ordering products that weren’t available in this location and arranged to get them from another store. I’m also really enjoying the membership benefits — overall, an excellent experience!

    Sales person was really helpful Took the time to help us get the app for firm to use at your store to buy the refrigerator. We were having problems on the app and the sales person helped us the only that he was a sales person for I want to say cell phones and he helped the Best Buy sales person by helping us. The other sales person helped another customer and I thought that was very helpful and teen playing for a team team working together thank you.

    I went into Best Buy Plus expecting a little more day-to-day value based on how it’s described. The benefits are fine on paper, but in actual use I didn’t find much that meaningfully changed my buying experience. The extended return window is probably the most useful perk, but outside of that, the savings and exclusives felt situational rather than consistent. If you’re someone who makes frequent purchases or larger electronics buys throughout the year, I can see how this might pay off. For more occasional shoppers, the value isn’t immediately obvious. I ended up getting the membership at little to no cost, so I don’t regret trying it, but if I had paid full price, I’d have expected clearer, more tangible benefits. Not a bad program — just one that makes the most sense for a specific type of customer.

    Be Smart Buy Membership if holiday is close or any

    Straight truth review, do not purchase the membership if you only go to best buy once or twice a year, but with that being said lets say the purchases you make those once or twice a year are big apliances or even pricey technology then the membership may be very useful, but plan your purchases if you need the item now and Black Friday or Christmas or whatever discount holiday is coming up then with the membership they will reimburse you the difference of the sale for your already purchased item. Now myself I do not shop best buy a lot maybe 3 times a year. But last Christmas my daughters asked for an Ipad so we went to Best buy I found the one she asked for, we also decided to purchase a new phone for my other daughter we bought the iphone 12 it was on sale, i also bought 2 sets of air pods so roughly $1300 purchase i was offered the membership paid $50 i think for it this was literally on Christmas Eve, the associate explained the new iphone would be released later the next month and usually they will put the older ones on sale and showed me how to use the app to even get an alert when price drops ect. Ok in March my husband purchased me a new phone. A month later we had some unexpected home repairs so I said i can wait for a new phone this was more important. Well looking at reciept I realized my husband had bought and had in his name so I went on their customer service chat and the associate said that I do have the membership but this purchase wasnt made on my account so they couldn't refund. Ok so I had I decided to just drive to best buy return and ask about a refund and see if tbey could add the purchase to my membership because it does allow more return time then just regular accounts. The store manager came over i explained everything. I showed him the reciepts and he pulled up my account and I was nervous or just thinking theres nothing they will be able to do well i was wrong. He proceeded to then hand me a full refund, and then said i also noticed on your receipt for the best buy membership you had also purchased an ipad it has actually dropped $200 dollars, and the iphone $150, and the airpods are only $20 dollars cheaper this week only so with my permission he could reimburse me the difference back to my original payment, you can only get the price difference on the items once and I said yes please he then gives me a new receipt, and told me $395 would be going back on my card within 1-3 days. So helpful and i was very thankful i went ahead and purchased the membership because somtimes unexpected costs can be stressful and i would not have been able to return the 1000 dollar phone since I only had phone 16 days and there policy is 2 week warranty, and added bonus that day an extra 390 for the other items i had purchased were not dicounted and did everything in 5 minutes. We left and the reimbursement payment actually was in my bank about 2 in half hours later(that is based on what bank you have) so yes this membership was 50 and the way I looked at it was it 50 , but I knew with new iphone being released it would be beneficial to get sale price and i wouldnt have to wait too long. But what I got from the membership was much more, the app is easy to navigate and see you account and contact customer service online(even though the representative was bot able to help me online they advised me to go ahead and go to the store they couldn't promise they would be able to add the purchase to my original account but they could help me more in person. I think it is worth it, just remember to purchase it when buying higher priced electronics or appliances or phones. I wouldn't go and buy a Playstation video game only and purchase it then or cell phone case lol you understand what I am getting at.
