Have not used the membership benefit yet. Only drawback is that my credit appication was turned down. Still had the cash when I walked into the store for a desktop purchase.

I purchased a new HP about a month ago. Adam in computers was our salesman. He was so very helpful and answered all our questions. I felt completely confident in the information he gave me. The only part that I regret is purchasing the WebRoot security. My computer did get hacked and it was a real mess. I have since deactivated WebRoot and went back to Avast. I believe your WebRoot cost 49.99. I woud be happiest if that would be refunded :)

Almost a 3rd of things i reviewed recently are things i got through the membership discounts. The sales are nice. My only complaint is that it would be nice to consistently have things i love in those monthly sales but when they do come around to my interest it is a steal and the shipping deal comes in handy as well.

So far this membership is awesome. I recently purchased a new laptop and learned with the membership, I'm FULLY cover, anything happens, covered. Decide I dont like the color, covered. If my laptop happens to drop in price, then I get that money back. (Example: $1000 laptop, I paid for is now $600, I get $400 back.) The membership helps me constantly.

They said I would have to return my Apple TV and then buy a new one. I told them that didn't make any sense because then they would lose money on the deal. They would have an open box item that they couldn't sell for the same price. I told them that I lived far away and it was the last day of the sale. I insisted on talking to a manager. I know sometimes regular employees have to tow the line, but I knew a manager could help. It took a few minutes for them to get a manager out for me. However, he was very accommodating. He said all he needed was the serial number of the device I purchased. We were able to locate it. He did a little manipulation on the computer to show that I had returned it, and then immediately repurchased it. He gave me the remote control holder. I know not all companies allow their lower-tier employees to do what is necessary to make a customer happy, but they should. Many years ago, my second job was working for La Quinta Inns. I don't know if it's still the case, but at that time, they gave the desk clerks authority to do whatever it took to make a customer happy, even if they had to give them the room free for the night. Just a little something to think about because I'm sure some corporate person will see this. So anyway, I have already recouped $10 of my $50 membership fee, with 11 months to go. I'm always watching the emails for specials. I'm probably going to need a new vacuum cleaner before too long and may have to replace my old dryer. I expect that my membership will help with those two items, if necessary.

Best Buy price matched the dryer. The customer service online was terrible. The delivery guys dumped the dryer off and didn’t connect it Dumped it in the middle of my hallway blocking my bedroom and bathroom. They said I’d have to get a private contractor even though that was part of buying the membership. So not a good experience.
