Upgraded my Manual 1-10 to Smart Thermostat

Was happy to find the Mysa Smart Thermostat for electric heated floors to replace the original manual controller that didn’t have a temperature feature but only a dial 1-10. This is in Guest Bedroom adjoining Bathroom heated tile floor. Original control was unintuitive and it once got left on after guest departure. Now, I can easily warm for them from my phone and check to make sure it is off. Guest can operate from wall thermostat control which is intuitive. One Important Note: Thermostat requires temperature probe be wired to the thermostat. My electric heated floor did not have a probe wired into floor. I was able to run the Mysa provided wired probe down wall and grout into place along tile edge (not ideal as you really want the probe grouted into the center of the floor for best results and smart installers usually wire in two in case one probe ever goes bad. Getting the probe to the edge of the tile worked well for me and floor heat functions well with new smart Mysa thermostat. The work around is to wire prob on two inch wire and just leave in the gang box. Thermostat will not work until the prob is wired to thermostat. Mysa was responsive to explain this to me, not otherwise clear on installation instructions. CEO even responded on reddit! Happy Best Buy sells this smart device!

These thermostats are a huge upgrade to the old thermostats I had for in floor heating.

Looks nice, but didn’t work for my heated floor

Looks very good, and has a nice app, However, after a few days of use, it started to trip the ground-fault, replaced it with a different brand thermostat and problem was resolved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
