There can be multiple reasons that cause slower or inconsistent Wi-Fi connection. First, you can try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your router to see if it enhances the Wi-Fi speed. You can also try to bring it closer just to check if the speed will improve as there's a possibility of interference.
