This item is a plug-and-play. Make sure to contact your Internet Service Provider to get your modem registered and validated. Since this item is DOCSIS 3.0 and not 3.1 get this device while it's on sale to justify the purchase.

Excellent speed for the eero6, this worked really well with the Spectrum connection.

Simple and easy setup, however returned it due to Xfinity requiring a DOCSIS 3.1 or higher for anything over 1gig of service. While the box says this will support gigabyte service, the modem is not capable of the throughput from Xfinity.

Purchase to replace the Spectrum provided modem. It has been flawless in performance. I have a second wifi router running off of this as well. Should you buy one…absolutely!!!

Had many issues, but learned it was because had Fios and not standard internet. Fios has a modem in our garage so we could not get this one to connect. It was easy to set up and their support was great except they did not know Fios did not need a modem.

I bought this modem to use with my Xfinity internet. It works great & got it authorized real quick. They uograded the speed so had to buy a new modrm. Cant go wrong with this one!

I had a rental modem from a cable company. It constantly dropped my wifi and when I was able to get wifi it wasn't consistent. I bought this one on the Best Buy cyber Monday deal and I am really happy with the quality of this modem. Easy to set up. It's running beautifully.

Netgear is a trusted brand. This modem works great, the 32x8. Get this one to future proof yourself and bring back that cheap modem Comcast gives you and charges $14 month. This will pay off

I actually purchased this modern to replace the one comcast brought me. This modem is much easier to use for a network than trying to disable the WiFi on a combo modem/WiFi. It was very easy to connect to our existing router and network.

Great Internet speed highly recommend improved my streaming greatly

I used to have the motorolla surfboard but I had increased my internet speed, so my modem would always lag and not be able to keep up with Internet speeds. After I bought this my internet never lags. I do get close to the 400mb that I'm paying for. I'm overall satisfied with this product.

The modem works great however After several weeks of use my cable provider advised that the modem 3.0 is not compatible with the internet speed that I am provided with and they recommend a modem with 3.1 . I returned the Netgear to Best Buy and they exchange it for the correct Netgear 3.1 and my system is working great! Thanks Best Buy for outstanding customer service

this device is fantastic, I was stuck with slow download speeds with my ISP thinking the 150mbps plan wasn't working for me. yea, i game online. i realized the modem was throttling my speed. i went to BB and got this gear and my internet speed is now blazing fast. works at top speed.
