It's an okay modem. Unsure why it says that I purchased it this year when I bought it last year. I have xfinity and the new modems (3.1 DOCSIS) paired with a good router will get you blazing fast DL/UL speeds. This modem on the has a 3.0 DOCSIS. This paired up with a good router will get you fast speed as well. I have the 1GB internet speed and with the 3.1 and my router, I have had speeds up to 850mb. The Netgear with the router I had, only got up to 270 at the most. I wasn't experiencing the internet speed for over a year. Longevity, This modem only lasted me roughly about a year before I had to start rebooting it every week.

This is total badassiery! It boosted my internet service a ton! I had an old Motorola modem and didn’t realize that a new one made a difference until it was installed.

When a nearby lightning strike took out our router, and seemingly several neighbors. It took long enough to diagnose the problem that all the cheaper replacements were sold out. This one works fine, and still beats the cost of renting from Comcast.

Fast modem that does that job at a budget price. Why pay to rent a modem when you can just buy one and you can move it to another service if you want.

Working well so far! I thought it was difficult to setup but it turns out my new house did not have the cable connected. Been using for almost a month and have great internet!

Cut the cord from Comcast ! This modem is ~ $ 110.00 and it replaces a modem rental from Comcast that is $ 15 a month. This modem was easy to install and works fantastic. Cut the cord !

This modem really works great for my home-based business. Internet speed is crucial in my line of work, and this really helps me stay connected when I'm working. Son also appreciates it for his netflix streaming haha :)

I have had problems with router off and on, even after replacement. I bought this new modem and lo and behold, no more issues. Installs easily and can handle large bandwidth/speed. Worth the money!

Purchased one and there great no haste with no crashing and have since purchased a second one for my business.add up the cost compared to charges for one through the cable company once you add a router

The Modem works great and the best feature is that it is paid for once, not monthly. The modem is flawless and I would recommend it to anyone with cable internet.

I now have a much faster & stronger internet. It covers a greater distance & outdoor locations on my property. I no longer have to pay the cable company to lease their modum.

Opted for the mid range price and have not been disappointed by the product. It was thought that we needed this type due to local internet provider; it has preformed well above expectations. Does not seem to overheat

As the backbone to my internet I needed a good modem. This one operates in the background but does a great job doing so. Very nice to look at at gives me great speeds with my router.

This is my second time buying this machine. I bought another one for our secondary home. I have nothing negative to say about this product. It works flawlessly and very easy to setup.
