Quick and easy to set up. Had it for a month now with no problems. Upgraded from a 8X4 stream to this 32X8 and our stability has improved greatly, even during peak times!

I grabbed this modem on a whim as I already had a cable modem running well yet it was a few years old (Surfboard with 8x4 DOCSIS 3.0). Specs between the two were almost on par yet I did notice my speeds weren't as consistent as they once were. My mesh system is up to date and even directly connected I wasn't pleased with the results and troubleshot everything I could so I gave this one a go. To my surprise, I gained at least 100Mbps DL and 5-6 Upload while my Smarthome devices seemed to be handled much better than previously (especially my August smart locks). I never thought it might be cable modem related, but the upgrade definitely was worth it.

This cable modem interfaces very well with our current Internet provider. We did have some problems slowness before, however since this cable modem has been installed, all is good.

Perfect modem for my internet package and I thought it was a great price. Does everything I expected it to do and improved internet speeds from my lower quality modem I previously used.

My other modem was about 5 years old and dropping internet all the time. So upgraded to this one. Nice and small and inconspicuous. Works great with my Orbi.

Bought this to replace our 8x4 Docsis 3.0 modem. Or plan is for up to 400 mbps, but we were getting a max of 253 mbps. After upgrading the modem we now get 450+mbps. Well worth the money.

I like the Netgear cable modem due to it simplicity and ease of installation. I did have to call my cable provider to get their system to recognize the new modem. Typical for any brand.

I noticed speed increase. Modems are does not have any functionality that you can control. Just plug it in, call the internet company to activate it and done. Reliability is to be proven on the long haul..

I bought this modem to go with my new internet service, instead of leasing one of their modems. It was super simple to install and it works great! Highly recommend.

Needed to upgrade my old modem, this was easy for me to set up, called my IP and it was up and running.

Had for awhile now and have not had any issues. Better than my other 8 X 8 surfboard modem. Have it connected to my Netgear Tri-Band Router and it is much faster connectivity.

I was advised to purchase my own modem and save money on my Xfinity bill. The unit has been installed for a month now and haven't experienced any issues.

Optimum approved modem list is very inconsistent on the web and the company could do a much better job publishing this information. Tried Arris 6190 modem and it was unable to connect. After further research I also discovered that Arris device suffers from Puma 6 performance issues. Returned to store and picked up Netgear CM 700 which works flawlessly. This device will save me costly monthly rental fees.

We needed a modem that supports two gaming pcs. This does just that.

Very easy to set up, much better than renting a modem. Works well with the wifi from Google. Also I tested the speed and there was no lag in speed from what Comcast said I should get

I don't have the highest internet speed available through our cable company so this middle of the road modem fit our needs well. Installed about a month ago and no problems. Set up was easy.

if you have Xfinity internet and do not want to use their modem, invest into this. No questions asked, you will not regret it. I have not run into any issues and i had this past 6 months.

it's doing what it's supposed to do so far, 3 weeks after purchase/install. Supports all the speed available from Comcast in my area.

I recently upgraded my Internet connection speed and my old modem was about 6 years old and needed the upgrade. I'm loving the new one and the speed it brings.

Works as it should with cable one and pairs nicely with my netgear router. Resetting is much easier with the push of a button as opposed to trying to plug and unplug in a tight spot on the shelf.
