There really isn't anything difficult in setting this up. Basically plug and play, you just have to contact your ISP and you are to go.

We purchased this to replace a rented one from the ISP. We are extremely pleased with the ease of set up and the connection it provides all of our devices.

Installing the modem is simple, but activation needs to be done via a PC or laptop directly connected to the modem, thus not via the router. The speed is amazing and a good value for the money.

Did lots of looking for modems. Decided to buy this Netgear. Works great with Suddenlink. Actually getting faster service than I am provisioned for.

I purchased this cable model a month to replace my old modem that seemed to have some periodic issues with speed drops. This modem has provided a consistent level of bandwidth for my 200 Mbps ISP . One reason I purchased this modem was it's ability to support 1.4. Gbps when I decide to upgrade to a higher bandwidth. The price is very reasonable for someone like me that did not want to pay a monthly fee for a cable model rental.

I plugged in and it is working so much better than Comcast modems you rent every month. Just need extra cost since you still need to purchase a router.

I've relied on Netgear peripherals before and this modem is working well and was "reasonably" priced and on the shelf.

I had to replace my old modem due to a lightning strike. East troubleshooting to deduce the problem on my old netgear unit. Easy replacement and programming the new one.

It's a modem, does what modems do. Easy setup and functions properly, using with Comcast service and a TP link router.

Bought this modem to replace faulty Arris 8200 which had a problem with overheating. This modem works much better even if it doesn't represent higher class of modems.

I have had this cable modem for a few weeks now. It seems to be working fine using Suddenlink. Setup is a quick easy process. Just call the cable provider to authenticate it .

Good modem. Seems very stable. My ISP doesn’t support docsis 3.1 yet, but so far this is handling the gigabit download speed just fine on 3.0.

Replaced an Arris modem with this and was the best decision I made for my home network. The Arris modem had erratic behavior and caused two IoT devices to become bricks when they tried to auto-update. I could not stream Hulu and other devices struggled. My home has 42 devices connected at once including smart switches, lights, TVs, etc. Once I installed the Netgear modem, leaving ALL wireless and networking the same, every problem dissolved and I have not had any issues for months. I will buy a Netgear modem everytime in the future.

I upgraded from spectrum with this modem. Mbps went from around 25-28 with spectrum modem. Once the Netgear was hooked up it topped at 122 mbps! I’m only suppose to get 100.

the modem seems to be very vast my speeds were getting slower with my old one so I decided to up my game with this purchase. very happy so far. netgear products have always treated me well

i purchased this modem because Suddenlink was bottle necking my internet with their modem/ router combo. this Modem helped easy the flow and made buffering none existent now.

Great router, been using it for a long time with no issues and great wireless speeds. Tried other brands, but NetGear has been my favorite so far.

This modem has been working hard since the day I bought it. And through it all, it is running smooth. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a DOCSIS 3.0 modem.
