Great modem, wish it had the voip lines to go with it, but does the job

Had to return this item. I didn't realize when it was purchased that its not voice compatible. I have a land line through my network provider that I pay monthly for. I switched back to my current modem and updated my router instead.

I've always purchased Netgear, as far as modems go, for as long as I can remember. They simply work and work well. Of course they cater to several price points, but it's worth it to spend a touch more than basic.

I returned this because it only had one USB jack in the back. The Geek Squad needed another to hook my printer up. So he used my old modem, which was still good, and now everything works fine.

Works ok about 90% of the time. Connection eventually deteriorates. A reboot fixes it but then the connection to the wi-fi router goes bad and a second reboot restores that.

Its a good router. sometimes you have to give it a good smack for it to work correctly, but in average it works. I would get another reliable one. It has been like this since I got it, but I need internet 24/7.
