Took me 15 days to figure out this modem would not connect all my devices. Tried to return, and I was a few HOURS outside the return window. There was nobody willing to make an exception. I have no idea how to rate the unit, but my one star is for the ridged and unforgiving policy.

I bought this router hoping it was faster than my 4 year old router and I did not run any faster on the highest speed spectrum platform

I bought the Netgear CM700 modem anticipating to upgrade to a 1 Gig plan on Xfinity. I had a 175 mbps plan, initially I was getting 112 mbps, but it slowly went down to 30 to 60 mbps download speeds after 4 months. At that point I contacted Xfinity and after multiple troubleshooting sessions, they said it was a modem issue and to upgrade to a DOCSIS 3.1 modem in order for it to work properly at faster speeds on Xfinity. Ugh. The modem states on the box it is a 1.4 Gig modem and specifically works with Xfinity/Comcast. In order to get anything above 60 mbps and for that matter, 1 Gig speeds, I now I have to buy another modem...I am far from pleased and of course it is non returnable at this point.

Good performance from this when it will stay connected to internet service. Had to restart it at least once a day to keep it connected.

I bought this to replace a 5 year old motorola modem, it does the the job just fine. It isn't what I would have picked but it was what was available in store at the time. It works with Xfinity cable internet. I don't like that it won't sit flat on my desk. It is constantly tipped back. The plastic is light weight and cheap, so the weight of the cables tips it backwards.

Average router, it does the work. It does not have cool features to control the network but it gets the work done.
