Nothing but issues

Bought this 9 months ago and it's been nothing but problems. It'll work for a while but then there are stretches where it's nothing but issues. After research this modem has a bad chooser and is not recommended. Not even sure why Best Buy sells a knowingly defective product

Connection dropped several times after set-up. Eventually stabilized and have seen better results as of late.

I have inadequate, terrible wireless service from Verizon. I typically have 1x or less. So I need the internet to compensate. I have a big house and the installers checked before completing the order and said this product would not be the solution.
I think it unfair for me to give the ratings below because it wasn't for me.
