is working and have had less problem that i did with the other net gear item i had prior to this on , the night hawk is a poor example of a machine poorly built wires fall off

This along with the router I purchased has fixed the internet issues in my house!! Got rid of our cable providers equipment which worked like crap and went with this...what a difference!!

This is definitely a great modem with all the specs needed to support my needs. Matched up with a Nighthawk router and I'm in a much better place then before with my rented gateway.

This looks like it is probably a fine device. Problem is the sales associate did not ask the type of Internet connection I had, so had to return as it was not compatible.

Worked well for a year or so. It failed just a few weeks over the warranty period, go figure. I did like the on and off button that allowed for resets but beyond that, very questionable durability.

Forgot about the Puma chip issue

Expensive lesson but learned it I did. Also couldn’t stand that nowhere in the admin site would it show “time since last reboot”—if I’m looking at hundreds of uncorrectables I need to know if they accumulated in 2 weeks or 2 days. Both are an issue but one is a bigger issue than the other. Went back to my Arris SB6183 that I’ve had for 4 years

Keeps disconnecting with Suddenlink. I had it for about 5 months and kept getting problems with my service, after many service calls someone suggested that it could be the modem. I upgraded to the Nighthawk and not a single problem. Netgear is also aware of this being problematic with some services and still do nothing about it. Sadly that I cannot return.

Says it’s rated for 1gb speeds but after testing it and actually reading the actual specs on their website it’s only rated for 400 for windstream 850 Xfinity. I have been paying for 1gig speeds thru windstream and have been chewing their butts out for my horrid 300-500 speeds when all the time it’s Been this modem. Be ware of that

Ok, when it holds the signal

Was great for the first 4 or 5 months and since continues to lose wifi signal. Been fighting this for several months. Sever headache. Would not recommend this model to anyone.
