Did not need but was able to return this item. Was recommended we needed this but actually we did not.

I purchased this Netgear CM700 to replaced a short lived, under performing Arris modem. So far the CM700 has performed well and I like its menu system. Far better than other modems I have owned. I had a couple set up questions and as always, Netgear support is one of the best in the industry. This model is a good choice if you need a DOCSIS 3.0 modem.

Performing as advertised, user friendly, a great buy.

Does exactly what you need it to. That's not a bad thing either, because if you're planning on buying a 1.4GBps Modem, to circumvent renting a Modem from your corrupt ISP-then you want what is advertised that you are paying for: A 1.40 Gigabit/Per Second Modem.

Recently switched back to XFinity and needed to replace my older modem to take full advantage of my connection speed. Hooked it up, submitted the the MAC and instant connection and high speed was in place. Easy!

Works great, for COX 500mbs tier or less. Apparently not approved for the 1Gbs speed tier so check with your provider to verify but this is a great value alternative to renting your equipment

We went to our local Best Buy and had the employee recommend this item and it was an excellent choice..we have had no regrets purchasing this item

Item was purchased as a replacement for an older Netgear modem. It was packaged well, was easy to install and works as described.

So Far it is working well. Haven't had any trouble.

Purchased a new mesh point router (Amplifi YEAH!!) Decided to go the full way and get my own modem. Rentals will be approaching 14-15 dollars a month soon for a crappy modem. The associates at Best Buy stated the Netgear CM700 was an easy affordable upgrade. I was concerned about installation. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!! Logged on to Xfinity and it auto hooked it up...a breeze. You do not have to call Xfinity if you follow the instructions. Did have to reboot Amplifi router....I was a little concerned. Now I have better internet speeds and do not have to pay a rental fee monthly! Really a modem is just signal in signal out. Why pay a monthly fee for that. In 9 months the CM 700 will be FREEE modem!

Got at as an upgrade from an old Arris one. So far so good. My internet is significantly faster.

Works good, look good. Best buy installer did a great job and set up all of our devices.

Does a great job. I have Suddenlink 400 mbps and my download speed is consistently 400+

Having your own Mesh Gear WIFI works great for me.

This box was beautiful. I bet the product was equally so, however I returned and had it refunded shortly after purchase because I didn't realize I jad a gateway already. 10/10 for how easy the return process was
